FX700 in comparison is very airy. No comparison at all.
As of now, SM3 is #1 in my list. It's one thing to like it instantly, but sometimes you get bored with IEMs over a longer period and there's only one #1 position. So, I'll give myself at least 2-3 weeks of more listening and comparisons to firm up my mind.
While I have no intention of "neck modeling", here's a comparison between SM3 and FX700 when worn over the ear. Distance between chin slider and Y-Split in the case of SM3 is zero and approx 6.5cm in FX700.
Update: Considering that |joker| already has his customs review out, SM3 should no longer be 10/10. Problem solved
