Which city or place sucks the most?

Nah, we just need cops to do their jobs properly. They are essentially a joke as of now. Govt need to popularize on how important and prestigious the ranks are and only recruit educated individuals. Give them a very high pay, arm them with tazers, strictly enforce 1000rs+ tickets for every possible offence. Most people dont even know that there are laws against spitting, dumping litter, speeding, shifting right. Country would be fixed overnight.

As mebaal said ernakulam is good.the best part is lots of options for transport either by boat or by bus.food is good.City is clean compared to any other city in india except maybe northeast.

Lol, I had cousins coming over from US complaining NY sucks, similarly from UK- saying that London sucks.

But yeah relatively speaking Indian metro's suck badly. I hate Mumbai to the core, hate the money culture/ pollution/ over-population etc... Over-population is the core of the issue, we need someone like Sanjay Gandhi desperately...

Noida is a brainchild of My Sanjay Gandhi and trust me its no better...

I hate delhi due to its traffic, pollution, takes an hour to go anywhere, dirty people. Only thing i like is METRO. Went to Bhopal in 2007 and it too sucks.

I like small towns like mine.

Moga, The 17th District of Punjab :)

BTW, Whole of the Punjab rocks.

Have been to Chandigarh, Jaipur, Bhopal and Chennai in the recent past and to be honest Chandigarh is the best place to live in by a huge margin.

I would request the mods to close this thread, as things are progressing towards discrimination on the basis regionalism, culture and language. A place maybe awful and it's people rude (may appear so) but that discussion has already caused a lot of tension among people and bloodshed.

Lighten up will ya :)

This thread is hilarious.

@ronit
About getting directions, the only ppl that are of any use anywhere are cops (cept NYC, get a map buddy). Shops always feign ignorance, if you want directions ask someone that isn't a competitor.

About those women in the bus, what happens if you just ignore them & play dumb ?

Silence is golden yes ?

anyone who said ernakulam is a good place is out of his mind!

the place floods if u pee on the road, its so small!

Had it not been the pleasant weather,I would've said Bangalore! But it's Awesome so I kinda Like here.!
To the original Question: Kolkata! OMG!! Take away the damn MEtro tag from it!! It's not a city, it's a shitty!

Madurai is the worst place anyone can stay in. Was there for 4 months working. I developed wheezing coz of the dust. Restraunts are all bad. Nothing to do on weekends. No theaters screen hindi or english movies. Power cuts in the night, mosquitoes, heat. Man that place sucked. Quit my job and came back to Bangalore weighing 5 kilos less.

Anyone else voting for Madurai

Any city that doesnt speak my language sucks!! I wont learn any other language. Why cant these rtards speak my language?!

Any city that doesnt serve my cuisine sucks!! Why cant these rtards make my kind of food?!

Any city that I go to, should make me feel like a king. People should be ready to drop all their work and serve me. What on earth could be more important than helping me?!

Mumbai....................Everytime I have to go to mumbai, I feel like I am going into hell...People people everywhere, running around everywhere....

I prefer not to extend my stay once my work is done...and if by chance I have to stay longer, Im mostly indoors at my sister's place, just going out for eating within mulund....I actually go to mumbai only if I have some work...must have gone countless times but never really felt like touring becos of the rush and the people and the garbage. Rickshaws/taxis don't agree to go short distance, or even medium short distance..

I have never been to India gate, Essel world, nehru park (i think its a sanctuary, somewhere around borivilli), etc.

Pune: Loved the city when I was young, was planning to shift permanently but my last trip, May 2009....changed my mind.....now theres traffic traffic everywhere...tinny tiny roads, One-ways everywhere.....and the most hard to find....ATMs..........

In ahmedabad you find ATMs in every second building...we must be having atleast 4 ATMs of just SBI within short distances of whichever place we are in Ahmedabad. In pune, i saw SBI ATMs only on petrol pumps.

Oh yes and then the Electricity and water problem. Electricity might be one of the most expensive here, but atleast it goes once in 2-3 months. ~90% homes with computer don't use UPS.

May be, true.:ashamed: moreover, the traffic block will make any new comer also too voluntarily hate the city. But ,what to do?For Any Good Thing ,I want have to visit kochin :(

@salluks,

sure it floods.but look at the positive side.

kerala as such compared to other places is clean.this is relatively not absolutely.that wins my vote hands down.
second food.u get nice food at reasonable price.
third transport.buses are plentiful and reasonable enough.

yes when u pee it floods.as prakashan said there are traffic blocks but then after living in bangalore, chennai, mysore i would say ernakulam is better.
my 2 cents.

I've heard ppl say this but could never believe it.

I'd be lucky to say if it does not go once a day, everday after the rains end.

This is why....i LOVE RAIN :)

Haridwar, insanely dirty, I'd never go again in rainy season, this place can be very miserable.

Moga rocks :hap2:
