iOS Why is No One Talking About This? Free Alternatives for WhatsApp Transfer?

I'm trying to transfer my WhatsApp data from Android to iOS using Move to iOS, but the estimated time 9+ hours .Why is no one talking about how slow this is for someone with large backup?

I found an app called iCareFone Transfer, but it's paid ($19), and I haven’t found any free alternatives. Did you guys find any completely free way to do this, or did you just pay for a third-party app?

Would appreciate any help!

Move to iOS is buggy and slow but it will work. I used it to move around 5-6 GB of WhatsApp data after a few attempts. Also, iPhone to iPhone transfer is buggy. I faced issues where it failed at the last step and I had to start from the beginning, but it worked after a few tries. Previously when there was no free app for WhatsApp transfer, I used iCareFone. It works well but it's a subscription model, and I forgot to stop it before it renewed.

I would recommend moving the large video files from the whatsapp media directory and then attempting the migration

Without a USB 3.0-supported device or a paid app, the only feasible way to transfer WhatsApp data is by using Move to iOS, which can be slow if you have large media. So, if you want to speed it up, the best option is to manually copy the Media folder elsewhere before starting the transfer so simple yet stressful situation.

Thread solved.

Your two statements seem contradictory. Did you switch apple and android in the first statement?
Didn't get you, it seems pretty clear to me?

I am answering the question in the title thread that why is nobody talking about a tool to move whatsapp data from android to ios - since nobody is moving in that direction anymore thats why nobody cares about the tool (those who were more into brand name have already switched) - in fact, a lot of the chatter nowadays is where apple loyalists want to move to android after finally realizing how much they have been missing
