I whole heatedly apologize, these videos clear everythingYou CANNOT use 2x M2 SSDs + 1x 2.5" drive in Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3.
Please read those again. If I was not clear, to use a 2.5" drive, you HAVE to remove the 2280 M2 SSD first. There is not enough space below the left SSD slot for a 2.5" drive to fit, hence the removal of the 2280 SSD is required.
Chat support is technically true. But not surprised that they don't know about 2242 vs 2280. These people lie on customer's face as well though. 2.5" drive slot can be used for HDD or SSD, if you didn't knew. 2.5" SSD will be SATA only. M2 can be SATA or NVMe, depends on the slot on mobo. NVMe on those laptops are up to Gen3 only, not Gen4.
Now these videos show that the laptop, though 5600h+1650 one, comes with 2242 ssd and with a caddy to install 2.5" ssd. Now either 2280 or 2.5" ssd can be installed as mentioned by you too and as its evident from those videos. Now the only million dollar question is whether these models come with 2242 ssd or not? https://www.amazon.in/dp/B09SKTLDK1?th=1 and https://www.lenovo.com/in/en/laptop...ng-laptops/Gaming-3-Gen-6-15-AMD/p/82K201UHIN
NVMe on those laptops are up to Gen3 only, not Gen4.
In noob language, the difference is between transfer speeds between these two gens? Is that a deal breaker?
Bhai that Asus laptop is 85k, way above the budget@becool773 this could be crazy deal imo.
It is not much high from your budget but crazy overall specs specially with display .
having said that I do not know How good Asus laptops are with thermals ...so maybe people can share their experience.
Thermals you asked for.
I did an omen upgrade yesterday and it seems to have made thermals even better.
Used to go 86C here but now close to 80C and during normal web surfing it use to be 55C
Now it's 49C most of the time.
If it helps .
I hope this stays the way it is now .

Have to order a laptop for a younger cousin today, the requirement is ms office+browsing for office plus it should be able to handle pubg and gtav. No future game is needed. The laptop will be used for office work like 15-20 hours a day. Gaming only on weekends etc. Please recoemmend. Which gpu is lower than a 1650? or can integrated gpu's too handle these games? He has a 2.5"sata ssd which he wants to add in that laptop.
