I have some good news.:D

I got an email and a sms few minutes back regarding the transaction at play.com, where I placed the order yesterday again after my first order was rejected. I immediately checked the status of the order at play.com and the status is changed now to "Packing" from "Order placed"...

Hope it works out this time around...

^^What addresses did u give them? Shipping/Billing both aramex address? if so in what format.

I just got a mail from them saying that the address could not be verified, so do post the details.

err ...someone wid lot of cash ..should start getting as many blades as he can...and start selling them on TE :p

Both shipping/billing address are the Aramex address.

Also I have replied to your PM....

@ cravikum,

I used my citi cc. My first transaction got turned down as I had specified my Bangalore address as the billing address so the next time I changed both shipping and billing to the aramex address..

After a few months, there would be many blades on sale on TE.

But this is an awesome initiative from varkey.

friends....my friend is in uK.
so he will help me to buy one and ship it to my address.
I need the OLED model.
so please some one explain me the procedure to do that.
he can buy from prepaymania, ebay.uk or from the orange .....

i will be very happy if some one can guide me on this.

^^^Place the order on Prepaymania site and give the shipping address as your friend's address. Then ask him to forward it to your Aramex UK address (provided if you have Aramex SnS account).

^^ I heard from Varkey that direct shipping will cost around 2k. Not sure though.

I believe some folks here got OLED from prepaymania. So try your luck. I think Grey is out of stock atm there.

no phone can be guaranteed as an oled one , its your luck just order one and see what you get, im also trying to get hold of em thru a friend should cost much lesser than to student discounts, open an aramex acc and ask him to ship it to them for literally nothing and it will come to your door no questions asked.

^ But many of them did get the OLED version inspite of the specs mentioning it as TFT. Anyway that was a week back, by now the OLED stock might have got over. :p

Prepaymania no longer supports Google Checkout :( So I don't think you will be able to place an order with Indian CC.

I think so too :p Just ask the seller about the model no, phones ending with 0B05 are OLED for sure

Again I read it at 2-3 forums, so I'm guessing it might be true.

My order at Play.com, which I placed at 07:55AM on 24th, status is still "Packing". :(
