Didn't see till the end, so really dunno how they wound it up, but canned yes. Saw some 5-6 epis and seemed far better than the crap Revolution which got picked up for a new season.
Yup, ROME is awesomesauce. That and Generation Kill are 2 series I can watch again and again.

@blkrb0t It actually took me more than a week to get past those 5 episodes. Maybe it's just not my type of television anymore. I loved Lost in its first 3 seasons and then absolutely hated the remaining 3. The entire concept as well as performances in PoI feels fake to me. Even someone as talented as Michael Emerson feels like crap to me in this show.

I find the manga "I am a Hero" to be far more entertaining to me than TWD, which is just doom and gloom all the time.

I finished ROME just a couple of weeks ago. Was done with Spartacus and so was eager to watch something along similar lines. However, ROME is vastly different as you have pointed out. And do not expect ROME episodes to be outrightly pacy. It's more about the politics that went behind the fall of the Roman republic. The sets of the show are just magnificent. As for the actors, i found Ciaran Hinds and Kevin McKidd fantastic. The former is just perfect in his portrayal of Ceasar's underplayed arrogance. However, it took me a while to remember McKidd as Tommy from Trainspotting.
And Capt. Soap MacTavish from COD: Modern Warfare series.
Done with episode 3. Moving on.

Got it and completed almost half the season yesterday. I have to admit, I enjoyed it. Never thought Kat Denning had it in her, but she is quite good at comedy. Oleg's one liners are really hilarious.

I am so very relieved and thankful to all the people out here who introduced me to this side of television and TV series. With the crap (barring a few) being dished out daily on Indian TV i find watching these english series so entertaining and satisfying.
It all started with LOST, around 4 years back when i had difficulty in understanding the accent as well as i rarely used to watch English programs / movies except movies like Jurassic Park, Independence day etc and i started with Lost and watched it with subtitles for the entire first season.
After that there is no stopping.
And final word...Lost finale still sucks

Less than 24 hours for Person of Interest's next episode. Can't wait after 3 weeks of agonizing wait. And the word is, it is first of three-episode arc. Oh Yeah!
It gets better. Trust me and v.Na5h. It uses realistic depictions of computers and other legal processes for most of the part. For example, Carter tells a goon they have DNA back over the course of a few days. He coolly retorts that those take three months to come back. (I'm looking at you CSI.)
Also TV is writer's medium and Jonathan Nolan has done lot of research regarding computers and AI.

If you didn't like the first 4 episodes, then you might as well move on. I thought the first episode showed some promise and got hooked to it in the next episodes. It's not articulate humor, but more of a laid back one, like Cougar Town. Besides, time just seems to fly when each episode is hardly 21 minutes.
