BSNL EVDO - have some queries about speed and charges

I have a Sprint 598U. My NAI is getting reverting to something like myESN@sprintpcs.com every time I try to connect and hence I can't connect.

Previously I was using a 595U and I fixed this issue by updating with a firmware posted in this thread. But there are no firmware fix available for this device.

It might be possible that I am unable to connect due to some other reason but right now this is my priority. Opinions appreciated.

Here are DFS Screenshots:

If you look closely at the Mobile IP tab, the NAI has reverted. Apart from that everything seems normal.

You also need to fill in RM NAI tab in mobile IP , same xxxx@AAAND.IN and write through DFS . Check again by reading it . Use QPST also as sometimes DFS doesnt write everything properly . IF you can use use Sierra Watcher for checking and correcting entries . It also works fine .
Your MDN is not filled , MIN A & D not filled PCS not filled
Your settings are incomplete . Who has set it up for you ?
Did you load the prl file ?

@cisco_tech Did BSNL change Vocoder to EVRC from 13K ? As far as I remember it never worked with EVRC

@kuduku: MIN A and D were filled I just hid them while editing screenshots.

Filled RM NAI, MDN and PCS, don't know how I forgot missed them before, but still no use. I used Watcher utility before posting the screens, same result. PRL is three, same as in my ZTE AC8700.

About Vocoder, my ZTE data card uses EVRC in each one of them so I used the same in Sierra. After seeing your post I tried 13K too but still not connecting. I guess I need to fix this NAI cause everything else looks fine now.

I might do a teamviewer with you in the weekend but not now dont have time , too much office work

I use sierra 598U with an external antenna. I see there are some config entries related to antenna control like EVDO Antenna RX control and CDMA antenna RX Control. But not sure what they mean. If i attach an external antenna, what should be the setting to disable internal antenna.

The Sierra wireless watcher installs unsigned drivers for USB ports and windows 8 (not sure about 8.1) then deactivates the USB ports. The workaround I do is to install the watcher in windows 7 and copy the folder to windows 8/8.1 and use the watcher

@cisco_tech
My 595U usb port complete broke with usage and battery died long time back , so got this PCI-e to USB adapter . Everything works as it should be . I dont have GSM module to test SIM functionality but CDMA mini pci card works fine .

I wanted to connect battery to the + and - terminals . Will it work ? Hypothetically should work .........

After the installation . Nothing to tighten the screws so used transparent tape

@kuduku I guess using Anchor or any electrical tape would be better. Keep checking this transparent tape if you feel it heats up a lot do change it. i would say change it right away.
All good otherwise. My 595U is running fine. I haven't faced any battery or USB connection problem. but i hardly use it nowadays. Max 3-4 hours.

Friends - Finally I got CDMA EVDO Pre-paid SIM card. I got it for Rs. 40.

Any way how can I know when it will be activated? Also, lady there asked me for plan (I was shocked that why she is asking plan for pre-paid) and I asked her to suggest. She noted down 1GB for Rs. 250.
Please let me know if there is any portal wherein I can know details about the plan? I plan to use this SIM in my friend's BSNL pruthvi device.
