Vacuum cleaner for home

Almost a carbon copy of Dyson V7 visually.
Probably a rebranded Chinese Dyson clone.

For 6k, I think there is nothing much to complain about here.
One's getting a cordless canister vacuum with a motorised floor brush.
But the advertised suction power of 130AW is unrealistic, that's the Dyson V11 level of suction.
Thanks. Ordered it for ₹6074 after discounts.

Sure. Amazon orders are heavily delayed. Its still not shipped and ETA is 1 week.
yes deliveries are delayed in few location for about 2-3 days.
Im eagerly waiting for your review.. i'm also inclining towards this, purely based on price point.

seen few review that were complaining about flimsy build quality & small dirt collection box.. while your review please do let us know your thoughts on this.

I just received the vacuum cleaner today and used it for a bit. Since this is the first time I am using a vacuum cleaner, I cannot provide a comparison with any other products.

The motor part is pretty heavy but the plastic is cheap. If you manage to drop it, then it will definitely shatter. I don't feel that the dust collection container is small. I did try it out and it was able to pull in dirt from floor that otherwise looked clean to me. There are 3 attachments, one motorised floor & carpet brush, a crevice tool and a multi-nozzle tool.

The motorised floor & carpet brush actually has a pretty good build quality, it has a rotating brush underneath that helps in the brooming action. It also has a cool LED strip which you can use to clean in the dark. The crevice tool however, doesn't fit snuggly with the machine unlike the other two attachments. I am not sure what to do with the multi-nozzle tool for now.

Overall impressions are good but will see how long this lasts with rechargeable Li-ion batteries. But for 6k I don't think I can complain.
One thing I noticed is a sticker removed from the machine which probably was the Chinese brand name which they are rebranding as Kent.

I didn't know Dyson v7 was available around 20k. will definitely check it out.

Yes I am also planning to buy the soft roller along with vacuum.
wont it be logical to go with V8 absolute in that case ?

22+3.5k, = 25.5, against 33k with all accessories ?

thanks mate !!!

look like i'm caught in dilemma now.
Kent or shall i bump my budget 3 times & go with dyson :]

Based on the current trends, this lock-down is going to stay for atleast 3-4 month now.
RIP 2021 !!

Well I always go for the best product which would last longer. I have no idea of how much better the Dyson is but if you are aware of it, definitely choose that. I have plans to move abroad within a year, so I decided not to invest in an expensive device that I won't need for a long time.

Based on various online reviews, Dyson seems to rule when it came for wireless vacuum.
No personal experience with dyson or any other wireless ones, we cant even call for home demo due to lock-down.
little sceptical investing 30+ without actually testing the product type without previous exp, hence was leaning towards low cost.

Then go for the Kent. It should work for few years and then you can upgrade to Dyson if this breaks down. If a vacuum cleaner of 6k lasts 2-3 years, then the money is well spent.

@sriharsha_m thanks for the detailed reply again, I too watched few reviews of vacuum wars channel. But as now of dropping the idea of purchasing a vaccum for now. Most likely will save some money and buy dyson v8 absolute plus ( one with soft roller is included )

@netant yes I was thinking same. I think few days ago it was 32k with bank offers

Zanussi Airwave looks eerily similar.

The difference between other available cordless options vs Dyson is night & day. Lives up to the hype.

Once V15 is launched in India, old model prices should come down. Now that V11 comes with swappable battery, older V11 with fixed battery is already being sold for about 10k less.

Kent Zoom, got it for 6999/- . received the product yesterday.
This looks like meant for only dust.. cant even clean cornflakes of medium size, rest you can imagine. motorised brush is good only for the dusting the floor. other attachment is just a lie and not useful.
Major setback - the motorised brush is choked by hairs .. suction power is too low to suck the hairs.

This product 100% live up to the standard of its brand ambassador, Hama Malini ;)
ref: video-

disappointed, seems like 7K went in the drain I guess i have to get another one for the actual cleaning.

Oh, is it really that bad?

Did you check the filters, were they choked by any chance?

I have never used any vacuum cleaner before, so I can't exactly compare, but this does pick up dust properly. No idea of cornflakes, but it did pull out few earbuds from under the bed.

its doing decent job in cleaning hard floor. dust - it picking up very nicely. but that's about it.
I think the culprit is - the way the cleaner brush is made its ignoring the cornflakes, and other similar type things. for example in kitchen we get lots of onion and garlic peels, if smaller it picking them up but its bigger it ignoring. Did below average while trying to clean spider webs.

pressure is almost non-existent if we use any of the extension ( which has rough 1-1.5 inch long bristles).

yes, it would pick dust nicely. so if we use it in casual daily cleaning of floors its good. i also noticed it works better in tiles floor compared to wooden floor.

this doesn't justify the price point, my previous was an 10-yrs old Samsung canister one. this is not comparable to that. that would even suck marble balls and broken glasses.
in a nutshell - i would describe it as a single function tool with mobility and low noise level.

I bought my mom a V11 pro day before yesterday, my family has been using Dyson handheld cordless vaccums for North of 3 years now, we started with the V8 plus. That vaccum works a treat, and now since for the past year or so since my mom hasn't had the help of house help, the vaccum works a treat. The V8 now is just sitting not doing anything, since it was her birthday a couple of days ago, I bought the V11 pro, a great deal was running on there website, I got a 6k discount on paying with AMEX
