Don't even think about getting tikona. They are the worst isp in India if you ask me. I had requested for a disconnection in February and had sent a mail to them asking for the same but i didn't get any kind of reply from them, so after waiting for a week or so i called their customer care...

@bigbyte 2600?/- is a bit costly and also you can get umg 1831 for few hundred bucks more. But from my own experience i would say e122 is one of the best 7.2 mbps modem available. Ive been using it heavily from last two and a half months without any kind of problem and compared to umg 1831, e122...

@supra But the low speed i am getting has been constant from last 1 week. If its really due to more users as you say than at least for some moment i would have got more speed or there would have been fluctuation in speed but nothing of that sort has happened till now. And also this happened...

Dude i know my place better than you and i also know that more users = less speed. The low speed i am getting right now happened suddenly last week and this is impossible due to more users unless some 100 people bought the sim on the same day itself! 500 KBps to 180 KBps is quite a dip don't you...

^ Its been the same from last 1 week. Earlier i used to get around 500 KBps but now i get around 170 KBps . I am pretty sure this is done deliberately by bsnl and i think this may well be the case till July when the unlimited offer comes to an end.

Ya speeds have been pathetic from last few days. Was getting 450 to 550 KBps and now it has crashed to 150 KBps. Anybody found any solution regarding umg1831 IMEI???

^^ Even i upgraded the firmware but voice is not working. Voice call is getting failed. Anything else i should do to make voice call work???
