Give try with windows internet sharing. I have never done it before. I will strongly suggest for an switch ( cost should be around 700-800rs), will ease your networking problems.

Malaysia - 2mbps no limit .. about 22USD, its more than what I need. I guess 2mbps is ideal for most of us (except if you watch live TV).

At this moment Intel Core two to gives better performance than AMD X2 one .. its a fact. Technical reason .. i think that will be out of our reach :) btw .. will be better if you mention processor family eg T7100.

you didnt mention how many user going to access it. Based on number of user you may have to look for server/PC with RAID or high performance disk drive. If you have very limited user (5-10) then you can simply by external casing which has LAN support and hook to network. best and easy soln to me.

why not PC Linux 2007 ..should be easy .. as there are many good review on it.

before that check if your laptop cooler working fine or not. most of the laptop cooler wont run at full speed when normal using but it should go wild when hot. External cooler is an option but I dont think it will help a lot for your case as its getting heated up extreme.

unless there is a purpose for big UPS .. its not worth compare to generator. It cost me around 2.3 lakh with 3yrs warranty. UPS may sound costly compare to generator but it has other benefit over generator as well.

it doesnt look like dead pixel .. as advised above try play with the LCD adapter cable. if you are lucky you may get this back.

utorrent - most lite torrent client. I was using azeurus for 2yrs or more .. it takes quite a lot of CPU .. at least when it start. if you have over 50 torrent active then it makes your pc slow significantly.

wah .. tempting me to try this PC Linux .. I need a OS for cyber cafe .. thinking of introducing Linux, let me try this PC Linux first. Good work buddy.India must switch to Linux,At lease we can reduce the piracy upto an extent.
