Solved the problem......turns out that you need to select CABLE SET TOP BOX as the source even if you are using a SATELLITE link!

Man...the game is awesome...i did prefer bf2 though which i found had more variety overall...have had it for months but dont get too much time to play...and btw....it works flawlessly on my 8800gts!

I would personally never buy the Wii. I guess it would work well for little kids and oldies since the learning curve is not steep. Another great thing about it is the cost...which is very very reasonable to say the least!

Imho....the 8600 is the best value you can get for your budget!....if you do have sli then plugging up 2 cards in the future would def be sweet!

Thats not totally true....i was earlier using an x800xl...worked perfectly...went in for the 8800gts with similar sentiments and now i go to see that the nvidia drivers for the same are half-assed to say the least. Disappointing indeed!

ImHO....go with the 8600.....dx10 support will take you much further down the road without an upgrade...if you want pure horsepower....go with the x1900xt...its a great card too!

Facts are facts... the evga 8800gts is the fastest gts available.....so go with that if you are ok with getting it from abroad....no questions asked..i have the xfx8800gts and it seems to be running great upto now.....no complaints....i paid 19000 for it around 6 months ago so it shd b cheaper now

I am using the xfx8800gts and all the drivers available upto this point from nvidia seem really buggy..... what mobo are you using btw???....the nforce mobos have had lots of problems with the 8800 series which have since been fixed with the latest bios flashes...you may want to look into that!

I have been using this one for ages.....i dont think that the improvement would be more than 5% though....maybe more if you got less ram and a slo processor though

IMHO Msoft will do everything that they can to get vista out asap.....most of the corporates have vowed to move to vista only once sp1 is released fixing the numerous bugs....which only means more $$$ for msoft!

I am using the HTC Tytn [not available in india yet] and i must say that once youve moved to windows mobile youll NEVER change back. You must remember that if you do buy the touch you would need to be a little more delicate with it than with any of the others you mentioned. One drop on concrete...
