Yea, the C550. Where are you buying from? I'll most probably be buying it this weekend.

Come to delhi and buy it from here. PM me if you need to know where to buy.

@Fenix : are you sure you will get 50 DVDs pack with tv.
I am getting a HD Airtel box.

WIll have to enquire with dealer.

Now finally I'm getting 40C550 for 47k w/ standard Tata Sky receiver and for 48.5k w/ Tata Sky HD..

Guys is the HD receiver worth the 1.5k? I don't watch much of TV as it is.. what say?

^Then chuck the DTH service completely if you do not wish to watch satellite TV on it. I am planning to sell my Airtel HD DTH connection as well. :p

I like that . Nice bargaining u did there . Congrats . I have also upped my Budget and planning to go for 55-60k . Let`s see if i can get a 46-50 inch in that price .

Finally got the 40C550 yesterday, for 47k w00t! w/ a standard tata sky box

FYI I got this price since I bought it from a (semi-)friends shop. So don't expect every dealer to give you this price, the lowest price I could get otherwise was 49.5k

Got AA panel though :( also one thing I immediately noticed is the backlight bleeding, Its quite a lot if I brightness is >50

^^ Nice purchase Mohit. Here in B'lore it's getting hard to bargain even upto 55K in malls and big shops. :( Have to start trying smaller dealers.

^Yeah do all the auditions and testing with the laptop/ps3 from a bigger outlet (read Croma/Reliance Digital/Vijay Sales/Next etc) and get the display from a lesser known smaller outlet. They are willing to bargain as well.

Damn! That was sad! Nvm congrats and please refer to the thread in the avs forums for the calibration settings for this display. :)

Hi Desecrator ( can i call you Gannu?? )

You purchased the C630 series, hence ended up paying approx 6K more for the 100Hz refresh. Could you please give me your impressions regarding this model.

Frankly speaking, does the 100Hz really matter?

I am a gamer, and like i've posted elsewhere, i want to connect my computer and play CounterStrike, TeamFortress2 etc... over steam.

Does the C630 have better gaming capability than the C550?
Also, about getting the ethernet functionality to work for streaming...
