Airtel Speed Upgraded?

i wish we had ftp servers and leech unlimited amount of data from you :P

damn my max seems to be 50-60 gb , dude one question if not too personal for you to answer ... what do you download so much :P
 
@ubergeek,i'm still getting 2mbps night,but not real 2mbps(usually airtel gives around 2.1 to 2.2mbps),but im getting 1.9 to 1.97mbps.

Yes only 699+taxes, this is the plan I have taken "61133-Browser 699 Combo At Day 512kbps Night 1Mbps Apr 10 UL Plan". For this plan day time FUP is 5GB and night its unlimited. If 5GB crossed I will get 256kbps at day time and night remains 1mbps, but now speed got doubled.
 
I am on Swift Plan (1299/-) or something like that, Airtel guys says its the only plan that isn't Fup'd and yeah I never get a message no matter how much I download. Well thats the good part Problem is, it wasn't that great all along, from the beginning I have been experiencing 'delayed ping response' issues. The so called Airtel Engineers don't have a clue about this. Its not this bad all the time but it is more like sometimes it happens and would continue for a week or so and sometimes it doesn't. (No software or Hardware issues from my end) But to add to that problem, I have also started experiencing severe Upload Speed issues for maybe two weeks now, I check speed here Airtel and D/L is @ 1000+Kbps but U/L only stays between 40Kbps-100Kbps

It wasnt this bad before earlier I used to get U/Ls of around 800+Kbps.

When I call up the CC, for the upload speed complaints (Now I don't even complain about the Ping issues anymore since its workable for me and they are unable to solve that) guy on the other end says 'We don't support Upload speed' well that doesn't make sense to all the normal people out here but it somehow did to that genius.

I've decided to shift to another ISP any suggestions ? I need good U/L and D/L Speed and proper connection.
 
Hey, on the 1299(512 day and 1mbps during the night) Was upgraded to 1mbps day and 2Mbps night a couple of days back.. but now it seems the night speed is back to 1mbps.. will calling CC help?

What should I do?

PS I'm from chennai..
 
@spy king,mine too,has gone back to round 1.6 to 1.7 mbps,what the hell is going on at airtel,Call up CC,and ask why the speed has reduced.
 
well are you guys only from Chennai who are getting speed variation,because my speeds are fine at 2mbps
 
Al ryt guys, AIRTEL back to being AIRTEL. I see the new FUP has finally become active, and I have a FUP on 20GB on my 1Mbos (or is it 15/25 GB), ryt now I'm running on 512Kbps(painfully slow relatively)... F*CK u AIRTEL
