That's great, although my question was really about the visibility of the characters on the keycap without RGB since I'll be using it this way.
Like do we really need the lights underneath to see the characters in a darker environment?

The characters visibility without the backlight is pretty good too. Not sure about darker environment as i've never used it without the backlight tbh.

2k coins means you have shopped worth 6lacs with Croma..
Nope, it's 5% on purchase price. So it could be around 40K, but I am sure i've not brought anything of that value. I think when they started the program they were giving away the coins 1:1 to your purchase price to generate interest, as a promotion and I got lucky in that. I had considered them worthless at the time, as there was no way to spend them.

Is MX500 a good deal? I am sitting on the fence about this purchase because TBW is quite low at 350.
MX500 is the best budget sata ssd along with samsung 860/870 evo. Also, don't go purely by endurance rating of manufacturer as chances are that MX500 will survive 600-700TB of write easily going by the past record of a famous ssd endurance test done years back. of course this is assuming you have a practical usage scenario of writing 200GB+ data every day to MX500.

Quite low your say huh... You will have to write almost 200GB per day into the drive for 5 years to exhaust that limit. Do you really think you and/or your system will do that?
There is a significant amount of disk writes when running multiple VMs. In comparison, Samsung SSDs are 600 TBW, and the KC3000 is 800 TBW, cost about 2K more.

but poor wear leveling may accentuate it. It's being discussed
Will look that up, thanks.
