Bad Company II : Initial Impressions

Yes, when i played BF2, my main priority was to maintain my K/D ratio and with that be a good team/squad player. In BC2, somehow I feel shooting with guns is 2 times tougher than BF2 :(

Am OK with the sniper rifle, can get some kills. But when it comes to other rifles, I am a TestSubject for all my enemies :p

Btw, Doc, i've added you. Its [IND]TheTestSubject. ;)

Thanks for the tip, will try to play with the assault kit and see if things work out. I sorely miss the jets from BF2. (J-10, F35-B and the almighty SU-34)
 
the starting weapons for all classes except recon are pretty bad. stick with it for a while... the first unlocks you get for each class will be much better.
 
Oh yes, I realized that. Now since i have been promoted to Specialist (I think its the one after Private III?). I got the sniper and the shotgun, but i am still getting pwned :mad: :ashamed:
 
I have problem playing game....when single player game is launched..it crashes without any error msg/warning......anybody is having this problem? am using win7 64 bit.....
 
For all the poor souls who arnt able to search for servers. .

The search is case sensitive.

EG.

To search for fragnetics server. .you have to type : "Fragnetics.com" which is case sensitive. Same goes for all other servers as well !

Btw ! Why the F dont I have the MEDIC defib and RECON mortar strikes yet !!!! me wants NOW !
 
Ok received my copy of the game now.

Now, where can I find the patch? Is it only available thru the game executable or is there a separate download somewhere? I cant find it..

EDIT:

Ok, now the game wont update.... It downloads the files but after half an hour or so, says that the file was not found..... What sems to be the problem here?

I am using windows 7 64 bit on the hardware mentioned in mmy signature
 
Yup - Im off to get it from their store. 950 bux is quite a deal for this :)

Dont know what it will do to my humble 4670 though.. the beta was quite a pain to run on my rig

Got my Limited Edition copy today. The game's good but somehow lacks the wow factor of Modern Warfare 2.:)

Finished this 2 days back, the campaign mode totally rocks. It is kind of short though.

I played on medium Textures and everything else Low (9600 M GT u see) and the game looks great.

Totally worth the $.
