yea i don't think there's any aa applied either. i've never heard of 1x aa, and the game is a jaggy mess with it anyway.

This game has a real feel like when someone shoots you smoke from his gun comes out that covers his face makes the game look more realistic also the destructible advantage is a plus i liked it but comparing it to Mw2 is not possible since there are something which mw2 has which this game doesn't :) I liked it though very much....
 
wonderful game , i like the destructible environment the most, nothing better than blowing up some walls and flanking the enemies
are there any offline multi player games like BF2 ??

1xAA = the image is rendered only 1 time = no AA at all.

The names of the various AA modes are from a time before when GPU makers came up with various tricks like multi-sampling to apply AA.
Earlier there was only brute force super-sampling, rendering the entire image at 2 times or 4 times the selected resolution and then downsampling it to fit that resolution.
 
Guys, how are you playing multiplayer. Each time I try "no game found". No servers are detected too. My game is fully patched now..?

Well when I launch it, it does not ask for the patch anymore. I had vanilla BC2 (only this, never installed the demo) on my system. And then I Un-rarred the patch to the installation directory..? What else should I do..?
 
I do not have PB. I thought that was just to maintain statistics, which I do not care about. Mine is an original retail DVD copy. Limited Edition one.
 
You absolutely need PB to be installed in order to play on ranked servers. Its an anticheat mechanism. You might as well install PB from the retail disc.

You will find it under the Punkbuster folder once you browse through the disc contents. Follow the instructions and wait for a couple of seconds/minutes and it should be done. for best results, disable any firewall, UAC etc and run the .exe file as admin.

OR - download a fresh/latest copy of PB from their website.

asingh that patch wont help................. Its a scene release and does not do shit on original copies. It din work in my case anyways. I had to get my copy patched via bfbc2 updater only. .... I am sorry I wrote this in an earlier post 2 or 3 days ago but was deleted, coz I was apparently talking abt "Piracy". Anyways, try installing the game in the default path. It worked for me....
