Crysis 2 - Discussion Thread

Almost done with the game. I could say this with the status of videos unlocked. I am assuming 'A walk in the park' is the final mission? Progressed a bit in the mission and had to crash. Unfortunately I couldn't utilise the Sunday efficiently - slept and spent. :ashamed:

Loved the game although the changes weren't radical like how Half Life 2 was when it came out. The in-game graphics were just too good - quite possibly CryEngine 3 is the best game engine out there. Unless id proves it otherwise later when RAGE releases. The soft shadows, vegetation, eye adaptation, motion blur, destructible environments etc were some of the features worth a mention here. The OSTs were pretty good and Zimmer proves again that his compositions in the gaming industry lives up to his reputation.

Will be concluding the game in the evening and shall begin Bulletstorm. It is going to be an awesome week ahead. :eek:hyeah:

Leave the game after 2-3 matches, that way your data will be saved.
 
Cryshit 2 completado! The game had quite a decent ending. Unlike most other titles which wants the protagonist face a bad ass boss, take his minions down and then some.

Hope they have some standalone expansion which might explain the events that happened between Crysis and Crysis 2. The game has again left me with a lot of unanswered questions. For instance, what happened to Nomad and Psycho? And why would even Prophet rely on this marine Alcatraz who was washed ashore when the sub is destroyed by the Ceph? Lots more actually.

Off to BS. Bulletstorm I mean. :p
 
Really? I didn't even get to see his face. He uttered random lines, none of which, I assure you, were awe-inspiring. So I wouldn't even be bother if he took a small vacation, went off to Bahamas and was sipping a Bacardi. :p
 
Finished this game about two weeks back. Nice game but i enjoyed the story of Crysis and Warhead better. Would love an expansion for this game :D.

Ummm because he was the protagonist of the first game and we have a sequel to the game which says nothing about what happened to him. That's why.
