if i sent a set of ram to taiwan for RMA, and they pay for shipping back to india, how much would customs cost me when they send it back to me

i had purchased it for approx 6000rs almost 2 years ago

^ If they send it at their own expenses and mark it as warranty return product with no commercial value , you won't be charged any custom duties . Worst case, ask them to value it as only 10-20$ and mark as warranty return .

Thanks for your appreciation.:)For the value of 100 USD, the duty will be approx:rs. 1586 and shipping charge srae relative to the weight. 10 USD for 1st 500 gms and 8 usd for every subsequent 500 gms +10.3 % service tax on shipping .

^Yes they will handle it but if an item is taxable, from what I know it is kept at the customs warehouse till the customs official inspects it and approves whatever documentation aramex have provided. Since yesterday was a public holiday I guess that will happen today or tomorrow

Received the parcel today. Very impressed with Shopnship. Delivered the item within 5 working days. Shipping and customs charges were quite reasonable. Could someone explain the charges in detail.

Is it Shipping charges + 10% service tax and Actual customs+ Rs50 Brokerage fee+ 10% of the customs

My 20$ package was hit with 15$ customs. I mean, seriously, wtf?! Fair value, I get it, but 75% of the declared value as customs? Who are they kidding??!!

I hate the Indian government officials. *aaargh*
 
Mine is a query similar to josejeya26, tracking the package using aramex, it says "Shipment Received at Operations Facility" does that mean it has cleared custom??
