Thanks for the link Gauge....The seller himself is the same and the price looks very tempting, but I'm afraid to go ahead and make my purchase for completely unknown website and lose the sleep over it till it reaches my doorstep or not....please don't get me wrong here,I don't want to sound rude

I'm also live at complicated place like West Bengal and I'm just 25 KM away from the proper Kolkata city.....and here very few Ebay seller and Flipkart made their delivery successfully due to some inter-state rules/harassment.

So I doubt this new shopclues may not have any clue how to deliver successfully here....

.....but thanks for the link and help/suggestion.

Also reading their Buyer Protection.....can't find any protection system like Paisapay of Ebay.

Buyer Protection:
At ShopClues.com, we believe that customer satisfaction is key- therefore we stand behind all merchandise bought at our site. We will replace any order within 14 days of delivery, with free return shipping if you receive a product which is not as per the specifications ordered by you, - (i) wrong size, (ii) wrong color, (iii) defective or (iv) significantly different from the description given by the merchant. However do make sure that the merchandise has not been used/worn or altered and is accompanied by its original price tag and packing slip.

Look at the bold part, how can I know if it defective if I don't use that thing ?

Say I bought the HDD, used it and find fault in Day 1 but it can't be replaceable as I used it....So 14 days replaceable protection got null and void.

Hey all..

I was trying to buy a Galaxy S3 on EMI from eBay? Usually you look for cheapest price, so was I. But then I saw the link for Friendship day deal: Use a coupon for shopping above 40k and get gifts free. So I found a galaxy S3 selling at 40k so that I can use that coupon. I tried to use the WD Passport 500 gb 3.0. But when I click apply, it says "Smart Move! You saved Rs.0.01 with eBay gift voucher YOBUDDY014 (Tranch E - WD passport 500gb 3.0 G68 Portable hdd - Congratulations on your Purchase)."

It does not say whether I will receive the product (gift) or not. I am not sure if ill get only the discount or will I get the gift too?

^^^^ Yes that means you receive that gift in due time.....believe me I
experienced the same more than one time about ebay gifts & all delivered successfully .

then why is it saying discount? i am worried because of the recent trend in ebay coupons going "first come first serve". What if the coupon is no longer valid?

^. If its not valid then the coupon is not accepted & a message is shown on the payment page itself.

The procedure for the free gifts is the one you are going through.

EDIT: Double post. Sorry. Mods, please delete.

well, one more question. with all the delays in getting the free gifts, are they really worth it? i mean should i go for s3 + 500gb WD hdd @~40.5k or S3 @ ~38.5k?

Look for a seller which also sells micro SD card. S3 + 64Gb card (Replace with what you want) + 500GB WDD for 40K will be a better deal. IMO
