I can't stop laughing, and even more so after the last sentence. I was almost in tears at the end, and it's not because of the show; it was because how crappy it had become. I was a great fan of the show, and it was one of my first TV shows. The first two seasons of Dexter are arguably one of the best in TV, and the 4th season is liked by many too. But after that, it's been a downhill ride into oblivion. Michael C. Hall is an amazing actor, and so is Jennifer Carpenter, but what can they do when the writers dole out nothing but crap to them?Just finished Dexter's finale season in a single session. With all the prior hate in the last few pages, I really had low hopes on this season. But then I saw the finale and all the hate just faded away. Michael C Hall, you sir, are a marvel when it comes to being Dexter. I would also like to recant all my bashful statements I had made towards Jennifer Carpenter's role, very early on in this show. Turns out, she matured way more than I could ever imagine. Don't get me wrong, I still hated her annoying potty-mouth, but in the last 2 seasons, she has handled the emotional situations so convincingly, that it's hard for her to not leave a mark on anyone. The music used in the end was perfect. It almost drags you down.
The show might have had it's up and downs, but it will still be a truly remarkable achievement for an amazing thriller drama show. Truth be told, this was the first TV show to actually get me involved in following Television, before which I was only restricted to movies. It's sad to see it end, but end it must. Showtime, this was the ace if your sleeve, hope you have something better to substitute (and NO it's not Homeland).
Goose Bumps? I've Had oneI literally was screaming WOW as the music started playing.

The show has lost all its respect now.
The final moments are a kick in the nuts to everyone who withstood all the other crappy seasons. Just think about the main motive behind every other season, and in the final few minutes, all of that is nullified. He says the same things in the final moments as he did in the 4th season's finale (WTF?). All the character development over the years for nothing? Not to mention the 8th season hadn't had any sensible storyline in the first place. The first few episodes showed promise, but it went downhill again as always.I respect your opinion and I know a lot of hate brigade would follow, but I stand by my word. I despised almost everything since season 4, but some of the moments in the final episodes executed very well. With a show being over-stretched to this extent, the writing was bound to take a hit. My only concern was how it would end and that that would probably seal it's fate. So I might be in minority, but I found the finale to be really good.
The best TV season I've seen, considering all the factors: writing, acting, direction, cinematography, entertainment, etc...I'm anxiously waiting for Breaking Bad to complete this Sunday and I'll finally be able to watch all 8 episodes at one go. For those following the show on a regular basis, is the finale build-up nearly as epic as the one in season 4 or does it surpass that?

I would suggest you to keep all the episodes downloaded and watch them while the final one is being downloaded. That way, you will finish it with everyone else.
Alternatively, I would suggest you to watch the first 6 now itself, and watch the last 2 episodes in succession. You would enjoy it more like that, as that's the way they're written.
54 minutes each I guess. The 15th was ~54 minutes, the next one would probably be the same.I am up-to-date with stocking all the episodes till now. I am really tempted to start it, but since I'm on holidays, they would be over in a night. So it's probably best for me to wait at least till Sunday and do a full run. Also, what's the exact run-time of episode 15 and 16?
Finished with Arrow season 1. Pretty decent series. Wondering what to watch next. Any suggestions guys? New to series, the only ones i have ever watched are Arrow and Bones.

I am not sure it will be at the same time. Maybe within the same day, considering most of the series will be aired during our mornings.Anyone subscribed to the new channel Star World Premier ?
