English TV series discussion

^ uh.. thats what i did.. i look only at proper places and at private trackers.. no general public torr sites. Anyway whatever. Do it if its already out and u ok with the quality.
 
^ Well from my source (TL one of my main sources).. its still DVDscnr.. with a tag of READNFO.. anyway i dont care.. its 720p is out and its proper and damn good quality.. me doing that almost about to finish.
 
Watched the Pilot of "The Deep End" - New Legal Drama Involving Junior Associates.

Contrary to all the major reviews, I kinda felt it was ok of not great. Infact it improved considerably in the 2nd episode and seems like it might get better now onwards.

Well either this or may be I enjoy any type of Legal Drama ;)

@Damages :- I only watched its first 2 eps which were few years back after that totally skipped it. Seems like I should resume it. Its also a sort of Legal Drama right..?

i didn't know the second episode of deep end was out. i can't seem to find it online :ashamed:. i thought the pilot was ok... not great but not too bad either. it didn't hook me in the first episode, but i'll give some time for the characters to develop.

damages is a legal drama but there are almost never any courtroom scenes. the show has lots of dark themes (corruption, greed, blackmail, manipulation, corporate intrigue and espionage, murder etc) and it's a very well crafted show. honestly, i think it's best watched a full season at a time... because it gets a bit hard to keep track of it week to week. you should check out season 1. it's a nice show.

2nd ep of deep end came out yesterday i suppose.. Kind of funny+drama+legal.. Still recent favourite remains to be "Raising the Bar". I am yet to watch last 3 eps of RTB which were released couple of weeks back..

Also watched Pilot of another show - Republic of Doyle

- Characters have awesome chemistry, decent story and Pilot was watchable.. Although 2nd ep will give a better picture..
 
Hey guys....whats happening....I was stuck mid season 2 of LOST, and just couldnt go through with it, then a couple friends suggested that I should get through, and it will get gripping, as a matter of fact it did, I went from s02e15 to completing season 5 in about 4 days.

But at the end of it, one wonders does it make any sense?! I mean did any of you guys ever think about it? I know its entertaining and gripping especially S04 and S05, but kinda far fetched, cant wait to see how the writers end the show.

Anyone out here with all the series in Gurgaon? I really like the TV series, but the 256 kbps speed bars me from any downloading for these mammoth sized TV series. I can come with my 1TB HDD to rip it all off !!!
 
What the hell is "Spartacus" really all about? Just Greece porn? I mean there are naked ppl everywhere and in every scene.. specially in Episode 2 :S Can understand most bold serie ever but what is it really all about?

As long as naked chicks are as hot as "Sura", I am happy :eek:hyeah: Rather than nudity, its the constant swearing that I find kind of weird.
