Toshiba make good drives. I have an external from them and it's been working for a really long time now without issues. But, as a gold standard rule I always keep backup of important stuff on separate discs as one should.
 
Received Samsung 970 evo plus 1TB SSD in flipkart @ 5841 today...Got sealed piece and seems to be working fine.
The date of mfg was more than a year ago, but warranty is taken from date of purchase, so that shouldn't matter I guess.

Coming Soon is a placeholder for everything on FK, including products that have not been produced for several years.
