Get it eyes closed... It's an unbelievable tablet At this price point.
1.battery life decent 4 hours screen on time... Very less drop when tablet isn't used
2.reads external via otg cable
3.afaik there is no hardware to make calls so cant be supported

Battery life is very good. Countless reviews say so.

No call facility.
 
Using mine daily to watch videos (only), rarely connect to wifi as i find browsing websites a pain on the small screen (ipad is good for that). Charge it around once every 5 days or so.
No usage on weekends.

actually, upon enquiring, i was told that they don't have any models beyond that date, and since i had requested them for a replacement for the second time, i wanted to have one with a later manufacturing-date, as the one i had got as replacement the first time was also of the same batch and having that same issue again (i had requested for a replacement when i had noticed the persistent screen-flickers).

they now told that they can't replace it again, and hence would like to offer me the refund. its underway now, for the tab+extended warranty protection kit.

no, not serious; albeit most of my usage is at night, and reading PDFs frequently, so i use(d) low-brightness, in which one can easily notice the flickers, if present. though its veey noticeable; but not that not irksome/bothersome, but coupled with the fact that i found the 7" screen too not so great for PDFs-reading, i decided to return it, when FK expressed its inability to replace the tab again and instead offered me the refund
