the extra memory wont really make any difference in performance

512mb buffer is enough for a card like 4670 i would suggest if u have more cash then take 9600gt instead

He must have thought of the HD4670 as he wont be having a good PSU..

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

^^ Yes, I am buying a new PSU. Most probably Gigabyte Superb 460 or VIP Gold 500W. Whats the reason you guys are suggesting 9600 GT instead of 4670 ?

Whats your max budget and what resolution do you game on?

I would game on 1920 x 1080 :eek:hyeah: I know for this resolution, this card is not enough  But this is just a temporary solution for my gaming hunger . So dont curse me by saying no, this card is not enough and all. Budget is 4.5k and not a penny more than that. So what say guys, 9600 GT or 4670 ? I know there's not difference between both. Therefore a tough choice for me.

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

It seems you didn't understood. I will be buying a new PSU. So, thats not a problem. The thing is which one to buy, 4670 or 9600GT. I am seriously confused between these two.

Oh sorry,
forgot that you were going to buy the new PSU,
get the 9600gt then..

hardly any price difference..
and its around 5-10% better than HD4670..

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

can i run ati radeon hd 4850 on my current psu its intex 450w, if not pls suggest me a good psu for it.....

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

^your intex cannot run the 4850.

what is your budget for the psu?

get the seasonic 380 for about 3k or the corsair cx400.

you can even look at the gigabyte 460.

cx400 is for 3k..

the cheapest PSU which you should get to run this card is a gigabyte superb 460w @ 2.2k

even 550w and 600w smps? r of the same size? but the fans r in diff position

Re: The Graphic Card Advisor

Psu dimensions are standardised. Unless you have a prehistoric cabinet more than 5 years old it wont be a problem.

Its like how a 160gb and a 1tb can sit in the same HDD bay, the screw holes on them are at the same places .
