just updated to 1.3v and stock theme.

The editing was done when that post was made but im trying to figure out why they are not working.

will get in touch with some dev to understand what has been missing in my edits.

It is the same honeycomb animation that is in theme section but in red, blue, green and gray colours. Was primarily aiming at red to incorporate with cherryblur rom but made others which were possibly interesting.

will update this thread when i get through it.
 
im on 1.3 , he has flashed the wrong version of gtalk , this one doesent do video calls on data, have to be on wifi, get the patched one which does calls on 3G/data.

Battery life is now better, lets see how better.

Seems better overall. This is only gettin better n better.

the atrix i have for sale is new with extras so anybody willing to pick it can take a look n let me know if interested :)
 
So how is the new cherryblur 1.3...Can I directly upgrade to cherryblur 1.3v from Gingerblur 4.5 after pudding>CWM... or Should I do pudding>CWM>Cherryblur 1.2>Cherryblur 1.3v

Also can somebody explain when to wipe cache/dalvik cache..Is it before upgrade or after upgrade...
 
boot animations are working now :D

it was lame image editor what was fcking up so far..

had to process through Photoshop..

one tested and working... will edit all and upload :)
 
Update to latest pudding.install cwm.

Install cherryblur v1.2 then install update of v1.3as it is upgrade which needs 1.2 as base.

i gave up on 1.2 and 1.3

had bad connectivity with file hosting sites in past few days and i must have downloaded 1.2 yesterday more than 10 times past 200MB.

I'm happy with 1.1a with stock kernel and will update once there is something different.

I have updated the pudding.

To anyone new to Atrix, just wanted to give a high-level overview of steps involved in modding your Atrix!

Note: The only way you could end up hard-bricking your phone is by flashing 1.8.3 SBF through RSD after installing Gingerbread! In all other cases, you are relatively safe. Just be careful when you flash Pudding and everything else is a piece of cake!

High-level steps:

Step 1: Unlock the bootloader (flashing pudding)

a. Install all drivers

b. Download Pudding SBF from XDA

c. Flash the Pudding SBF through RSD Lite

d. Start the phone in fastboot mode

e. Run the commands to unlock (fastboot oem unlock)

f. fastboot reboot

Step 2: Flash CWM recovery

a. Download Tenfar's CWM recovery from XDA (CWM recovery from ROM Manager has some issues currently, stay away for the time being)

b. Start the phone in fastboot mode

c. Run command to flash Tenfar's CWM recovery to your phone (fastboot flash recovery recovery.img)

d. fastboot reboot

Step 3: Explore custom ROMs

a. Put the zip of required ROM in the root of SDCard

b. Start the phone in Recovery mode (will take you to the flashed CWM from step 2)

c. Wipe Data/Factory Reset

d. Wipe Cache

e. Wipe Dalvik Cache

f. Install Zip from SDCard, select the zip file you downloaded and flash!

g. Reboot

Step 4: Enjoy!

only things I would add

1) keep your phone charged to 100% before you start.

2) keep yoour original USB cable attached to motherboard ports on backside of pc .

3) follow developer instruction as it is.

4) be sure of what you are doing. read here,xda android development thread.

PS: you guys can suggest me good GIFs or videos which can be made into boot animations.

would appreciate it.

avoid videos where a/v sync is crucial. it will be a tough job to time both streams as video is being changed to a stream of images.
 
its AT&T guys,

they are the ones blocking bootloader unlock of atrix.

if it was motorola,why would they have unlocked bl in 2.3 and locked in 2.3.4?

AS far as i think, Its AT&T who blocked bl unlock in final builds.

they have also started inventory pullback for atrix.

something is coming to replace it.

we dont need BL unlocks, we already have it now... no matter what ATT puts on atrix now, the official releases will only be used as base for custom roms..

hardly anyone who is already on custom would care for vanilla ATT..

infact the vanilla ATT is stuffed with too much bloat.

I am talking about project this sh*t is banana's.

I am enjoying bloat free cherryblur v1.3

will update to navalyant build next week.

I am sure he is gonna cook something on weekend.
 
4.5.91 is pretty much latest that we will get from ATT

4.5.2A is courtesy of Orange FR which is INT model.

we may get better compatibility with 4.5.91 with our ATT based devices.

will have to wait and see how it turns out to be.

enjoying working on bootanimations for now.

will move on to theming after that... read through it but it was too much work to begin with for me :P

wish android supported Themes OOB as a standard instead..
 
yaa i miss symbian's theme support.install and get done.

android theming is difficult as in all flashing and all.

which kernel is good to use with your set cpu app?
