Exactly why anybody else would care less about you. Did you witness or try to learn why they actually worship Rajnikanth or Jayalalitha or all of your information was fed by media/word of mouth? You formed an opinion around it and so do others. Introspect?

p.s. I am not a Tamilian. I am not a Jayalalitha or Rajnikanth fan either.

^^ that kind of thing has gone one with all govts and even just powerful people. The thing that makes me really fear and despise this government is its fascist tendencies and the narrative of overwhelming public support (which all successful fascist regimes have).
 
All govts. are in the business to basically make tons of money and so corruption is always intrinsic to the game. But no govt has been this extreme, not even Indira's dictatorship period or Gandhi's nasbandi or Morarji's antics

I used to think like this too but then I came to know about France, Germany, and Scandinavian countries' governments. They feel like saints compared to our gobermint.
 
I meant other Indian parties actually. Other countries also have corruption, but they also give a couple of fcks about improving things generally...

I've been paying KKC for a while now but i hear about farmers committing suicide. I've been paying SBC and if anything, the place has gotten dirtier. They've installed some fancy toilets along palm beach road and my cuz tried one and it was so dirty he couldn't actually enter. Guess they didn't know chemical toilets need maintenance and draining...

Dunno how long people will keep believing this crap and supporting them. Once they have aadhaar and mobile numbers linked, this is all they need to have 360-degree surveillance on everyone.

BTW, for the govt, A-GPS is nearly good enough, IMO to track you down.
 
I'd agree with you about anything else, but this specifically is definitely for surveillance. See the second para in that wiki to see how it fits.

And it's retarded to think that GPS in phones will keep women safe. Women's safety needs better policing and stricter penalties and basically a complete revamp of the justice system. As far as i can see, like everything else this govt has done, this is another nefarious plan hidden behind a 'good intention'.

And currently i can turn off GPS and WiFi location scanning. Pretty sure once they make this mandatory, it would be forced always on.

This is another example of using tech to pretend to solve a human issue.With the level of education and mentality of people in India(Delhi NCR I am specifically looking at you) this will do nothing.

I was just reading something and remembered this post you made.

Someone said, till the docs leaked that the CIA could spy on people through their TVs (and other avenues), the 'rational' ones would write off any such claim as a nutjob conspiracy theory. But they're not saying much now eh?
