how much does Sansa clip cost?

^ Not really :P KMDs pricing for 1 pc was also similar 2.4-2.5k ;). Here you are getting a product with official warranty for 100-200 more.
 
^ Where ? That was a special Group order price dude. Once the GO was over ,He was charging ~2.4-2.5k for single order.

Its not there for 2K anymore..He isnt even accepting orders as of now. :( I hope he comes back soon .Unbeatable pricing ..
 
I am in too depending on the pricing. I am definitely in for the 2GB model 'coz i already sold my shuffle :huh:

Dayam. i paid Rs. 1592 using Ebay 20% off cpn :eek: I bought this one for my friend and now i will have to buy the same thing @ higher price :@:(

It's still a good price. Don't compare the prices from US. Look at what price you are getting in India with warranty. Ofcouse the Clip+ isn't available here, but the Clip 4gb version is more expensive than this.

As for KMD, the price he was giving was only for a GO. Ask what he would give to individual and then compare. And now he isn't even taking orders.
 
^ Second that.Also Ebay seems to have revised their charges for seller .This guy told me He has to pay some 6% charges + additional taxes etc, which overall comes to almost 8-10% margin to Ebay. He might be able to give you guys better deal outside Ebay.

Or else just use a 20% off coupon and get the 4GB Clip+ for ~2.8k shipped and with warranty.

Consider this, KMDs individual price for 4GB Clip+ was ~3k.Add to that the ebay charges etc .It comes close to this price. This guy is giving you a complete 1 year replacement warranty as well which in the case of KMD was payable .;) KMDs prices are the best and unbeatable only in the case of GOs.
 
Guys, I met the seller and I can say for certain he is not after a handsome profit like most of the other sellers. If he is selling at this price then I have no doubts that he is not making much profit from it. He is a true audiophile and his primary intention is of bringing nice audiophile gear to India. :)

sansa clip, Consumer Electronics, Fun Stuff, sansa items at low prices on eBay India

His mom picked up the phone...She knew nothing about the product but started giving my gyan about the warranty(She said that "we don't make the product so obviously we cannot give the warranty:()...Then she told me that ppl like me don't want to buy products just want to call khali pilli:(....)...

I told her I am a ebay authority and she will get banned if she uses such language:)...she then toned down but still started giving me gyan (saying that the no was of the head office of their company and all)...

Finally she promished that she will ask her son to call me:)

As the clip + has expandable mem slot, it makes no sense to go for 4GB at additional 1k. Just my 2 cents. 2GB clip+ from kmd and an 8GB card for 800/- makes more sense.
 
If the price of Clip plus or any other products suits us we should buy otherwise leave it. No one is forcing us to buy anything from anyone...

So far I have been impressed with my dealings with this seller who is also a fellow audiophile with tons of information and wisdom. When I spoke to him (and his mother) while buying Sansa Clip Plus 2 GB some 2 weeks ago, they responded well and provided me all information I sought. I will buy again from him if the price of his products suits me.

May his tribe grow.

@vercetti - I don't exactly know what kind of conversation you had with her, but all those who were there for the headfi meet can say that his mom is a very sweet person. :)
 
I think I can add to BF1983's post as well. Although I may not have met him, from the mails that I'd or have been rather exchanging with him, I did find out that his primary intention is not running business. I think his family manages that. He seems to be a true audiophile in all sense and a hard core DIY'er. I honestly wish I can drop in at his place and check out his gear and collect my stuff personally but I'm afraid time and hectic schedules won't permit me to do so. Rest assured, I think we shall soon see another audiophile registering in our forums pretty soon.

Besides, he's been getting several shipments from Singapore with an extended warranty - for eg. the Tube Magic D1 has a warranty of 2 years.

@dominator: please stop the ridiculing already. vercetti should have probably known that she must've been old to have all your geeky queries answered.
