Can you provide me with a link where i can check my order status on HP SMB cause i did not get any order number nor did i get any confirmation

I spoke to the agent after 20 mins and she said they are processing order one by one and since they have less stock left with them.

In that process the orders will be shipped which will take some time and I will receive a mail for this shortly.

As for why the credit card was charged they said this was just a authorisation amount.
 
Just spoke to B&N CC after 28 mins on hold :)

Firstly, the CC charge is a soft charge; just to confirm whether my bank has any issues while payment. This will be reversed if the order is cancelled. It does not imply that my order is through.

Secondly, my order is under process and it can take anytime between 24-72 hours before I get a confirmation as to whether I will finally get a touchpad or not.

I`m still waiting in the queue. What questions did they ask you? Did they ask about the indian billing address?
 
I haven't got charged on my CC yet. My mom says it's not a problem since she does purchases with US merchants all the time and they have no problems taking the money out and hence no soft charge.

And secondly both my orders are In process. Back to feverishly praying that it gets through then! :(

Just read on SD that Onsale is also cancelling almost all Amazon orders coz they sold thousands even though they only had few hundred in stock and overseas customers will be chopped out first :(

So even if it says shipping soon it will still be cancelled :(
 
seems they also have only 32GB..16GB giving error 32GB added to cart fine

I dont trust that until we get a cancellation mail..some jerks are just trying to scare ppl
 
sad,, the madness is even more then Ebay's 250 off on 259 coupons (some months back)

I am not able to find anywhere :(.

TOday I came to know more then 25 new Online retailers sites in USA. :P
 
may be in the last 2-3 days, 95% online deals would have been only for HP touchpad :P ,

HP took down the business, but created hell for Retail store CC . LOL
 
touchpad is now the best selling tablet in the U.S... I know it is because of the fire sale and all but HP should've stuck it out. Many believe webOS 3 it is better than honeycomb. I haven't used either so far.Hope that changes soon.

Right now trying to source it out hopefully from U.K . So dixons, currys and pc world have it for around 90 pounds for the base one.
