Item price + local shipping + taxes = Rs. 95.52

Int'l Shipping = Rs. 480.00

Duty, Taxes & fees = Rs. 89.48

TOTAL = Rs. 665.00

Just one screenguard...... And I am supposed to pay 480 for shipping......???
It shouldn't be bulkier than a greeting card...... Hell..... These people lack common sense...... I didn't order.... I'll rather ask a friend to get it for me...... :(
 
Not using ebay is a positive step, ebay somehow takes 6% of total payment and customer got to cover that in total amount, direct payment to their a/c can save customers bucks, if ICCworld really want a longlasting business model.
 
any mobile accessories u order will be heavily taxed abroad too hence ur shipping charges r high . thats y u see ipad and iphone accessories selling at very high rates on ebay india ...this is only for mobile and electronic accessories ..
 
I wanted to purchase something through ICCWorld. So they asked me to transfer money to an account and send them the details.

Do they work this way, not any secure payment as they claim in their website ?

Dude, [Item Price + Local Taxes] USA + [Local Shipping + Duty + Taxes + Fees] India = Rs. 185/- Only

They are charging me Rs.480/- for Shipping from USA to India...... That is ridiculous. They charged Shipping @ Rs.480/- to sumone who recently purchased a Panasonic Camera..... So, Rs.480/- is the minimum Shipping charge they take...... And that's a definite no-no for me.....

There is a clear distinction between Taxes & Shipping that they have made.
 
Amazon is offering 20$ off on shoes worth Rs 80$ and above. I sent an email regarding this offer to iccworld along with links for two shoes of my choice but still no answer.

yesterday i got a quote with international shipping charges 288.

This is exactly what i was saying. If this was listed on Ebay you could have used a 15% coupon and got it for say Rs 1800 which would effectively be the Shipping Cost + Product cost which is still justified :p ..
Also the Quotes these guys provided back when they listed on Ebay were independent of the 6% Ebay charge. That was never factored into the Quote ad Cost. So its like we are getting a 6% discount from the previous quotes.
Security etc is all ok but to us Indians its the cost and discount that matters the most :p
 
Mine experience was a pleasant one. I got BD-R discs from amazon via ICC. They charged Rs. 280 for shipping charges and I got them in 8 days only :)
Just one thing they misquoted was octroi. The guy I spoke to told me that they have calculated all the taxes in their quote. I specifically asked for octroi for Pune, then he said it too has been considered. But I had to pay extra for that at the time of delivery.
 
I placed an order on August 19th for a product and it was supposed to be here by Sep -5th or a refund though ebay on sep 5th . There are telling it has still not shipped to there NY office . I have till Sep -10 to confirm the refund . If I had deposited money directly to their account ,don't know what would have happened . Sanjay Ghosal , keeps saying you will definitely get . This is not a pleasant experience .will wait till Sep9th and trigger a refund at ebay .:no:

I had contacted them in connection to get an iPod Touch 8gb with Engraving(which is done for free by Apple).Cost is 229$.Here is the quote that I got

Item price, local shipping, taxes: Rs. 11220

International Shipping: Rs. 450

Duty, Taxes, & Fees: Rs. 3508

TOTAL Rs. 15178

Isnt the taxes & fees high or is it proper:S
