1.Why exactly anyone would install Dolphin browser(or any 3rd party browser) in iphone?
Safari can do pretty much everything,in fact it can download anything(even .dmg/exe files,TW browser is GS2/GS3 does not allow these)if you know how to!
People have preferences you know. iOS forces down their choice on you.
You can customize Android to your liking. Do one always have to like what Apple likes?
An operating system should do what you want it to do; not the other way around.
5.Custom ringtones of all things!!
How many of us even change the default ringtone?(school kids, please excuse me,no offense meant!)
What if I want to change it everyday. Should a OS dictate what I should do?
It's not about how frequently the feature is used; it's about how easily the OS do a simple task.
Want to know about some real limitations of ios?
Lets start with the mail app,
1.You can not attach anything from the mail itself, you need to go into the app and attach from there(there is workaround, but will not explain here)
2.The mail app does not have the option to select all as read/delete etc.
These were coming in the points for 2nd to 5th video
Really disheartened to know many Android followers here bash iphone without actually using it ever!!
Those who have used both platforms extensively do not really need those You tube videos!!How can anyone comment about usability of an o.s without actually using it!?
No matter how many videos you watch,or how many articles you read, unless you use it yourself, you know nothing!
Although I don't have an iPhone, my girlfriend has it and I've used it long enough to experience it.
I am saying it from experience ; after few days there really isn't much about that phone that holds my interest.
While I can still play with my S3 for hours customizing the home screen exactly like I want it to be.
Now, for the other shortcomings mentioned in the videos:
Video 2( Where the comparison was between Samsung Galaxy S on Android 2.2 vs new iPad):
1) Sharing :
iOS: No easy way to share it to Facebook. It only integrates with Twitter (till iOS 5.1)
Android: Shares with anything, G+, Dropbox, Twitter , FB etc etc...(again its Froyo 2.2). Just a click away.
2) Lot of apps are limited for iOS:
e.g.
Dropbox:You get a text file one it. In iOS you can't edit it.
In Android you can edit it right within the app.
Same goes for creating folders.
Netflix: No HD version on the iOS yet. Its there in Andoid.
Many apps have a free version on Android (e.g. Angry Birds).
Plus you can get you money back if you're not satisfied with the apps on Android.
On iOS you're stuck with the app even if you don't like it.
3) Emulators:
Android: Lot's of them. Free.
iOS: Nothing on it.
(Ofcourse, Apple user don't need it
)
4) You can install an app right from your PC to your phone in Android. Without touching the phone.
Tight integration.
You like some link; and you are in hurry and you'd like to read it on the go.
You can share the link in one click from you PC to your phone and the link opens up in phone.Read it on the way.
Can't do it in iOS.
5) Again more choices. Different screen size, 4g. Battery, SD etc.
