Nopes... no 2GB kit can do 2-2-2 other than the EOL'ed crucial ballistix. All the infineon stuff is 2-3-2. Goldie get the Gskill 2GBHZ. Thats an awesome deal for 200$

Rahul. The cost here is like 4500 each.

Im getting the GSkill 2GBHZ. Its my best bet. :).

Which mobo now guys?

For DC opty mostly even A8N-E will do if its good stepping.

It all depends on how much you wana spend on motherboard.

A8N32 is way overpriced here.

From outside too its more expensive than most of the stuff.

if you dont need SLI just go out and buy DFi NF4 ultra D or Asus A8R MVP. Dont underestimate A8R MVP, its killer overclocker.

I think you need to do a voltmod to make it a killer overclocker ;). IIRC its limited to 1.55V otherwise.

EDIT: What I'm surprised of is that no mobo maker simply copied off the reference ATI RD480 design. That was a monster board and would surely have been a hit if it was available in retail.
 
gf, there is no alternative for high performance RAM - a 1GB kit will perform better than the 2gb kit you plan to buy. Besides, no game will run faster with 2gb vs. 1gb RAM - I say get some low latency RAM for the same $150 - maybe Kingston HyperX because of their high stability.
 
Goldie spend 50$ more and get the GSkill... you wont regret it.

@RiO: That used to be true a while ago. Now 2GB is a requirement. Also HyperX is pathetic compared to all other high performance ram available.

Dude, my upper limit is 900 including Tax and Shipping.

@ Chaos. I think ill have to take my chances. Coz if my dad doesnt agree on the price. I dunno what ill do.. ZZz..

He told me anywhere near 35k is fine. Max, i can tell him is that tax and all thus it cost 40k.

Plus this idiot frnd up there, kido, wants me to spend 150 dollars extra on the 150gb raptor. When my dad has not even agreed for the 74gb one. ZZz.

He said only Mobo, CPU and RAM.
