watched a few youtube-videos in SD on the Nexus 7 - very bad! not very hopeful now about SD video-playback on the Nook.
will primarily use it to read PDFs.

yes; i don't watch sitcoms/viral-videos/latest TV-shows & series/sports or commentaries or any such generally watched videos which are present in better resolutions, or/and seldom anything that's available in HD resolutions. my staple-diet on youtube consists of videos (and comments too!) on/about some very specific subjects, which are mostly found to be only in 240p or/and 360p, not even in 480p. would like to request to you or any owner for Nook HD+ here to play 1-2 such vids on their tabs, and the please let me know how did they look, or any workaround to have a decent view of those; you could please play any of the following:

^^ SD vids look sloppy. I use MXPlayer and if you can watch them in windowed mode, it's fine (but then they look tiny !).

hehe. yes. i plan to do that only. coming from watching such videos on a 4" screen, shouldn't be much discomfort.

It will be, primarily because the video itself would be too tiny with huge black borders around it !

nevermind then. can't skip the videos, so will accept it and adjust to the screen.

Moko Slim-type case, a 4GB card for rooting and installing CWM (and also CM if needed). A 32GB card for all the movies and comics (will be replaced with a 64GB soon )
