They must be, I dont have exact location info, but I am pretty sure there are other location also.

I am pretty sure you can plan your custom configured holiday with them.

Plus "RezLive" which you can see, is global reservation portal for all agents of india.

It's better to contact them and ask about it.

Ok Guys...so in a way we have finalized our itenary and need some inputs.

Airline Booking - In terms of rates, is Makemytrip a good option that i have ? Or contact airline site directly ? Also at 16k INR per round trip ticket to Mumbai - Bangkok, does it sound good ? The airline in this case is Cathay Pacific and i cross checked with their website and the same flight rates are 1K less overall on main site :S

Hotels -In terms of hotel booking, which online site is preferable for the same ? asiarooms, expedia, booking.com any other option ?

Do it from their own site.

For hotel booking I think agoda.com rates are cheapest.

For travel insurance book on www. nriol .com/insurance/tata-aig.html

One of the better places. Couple of days at Munnar + Thekkady and the weekend at the backwaters in Alleppey. Perfect for an inexpensive getaway. :D

A nice holiday but inexpensive only if you're staying in the south. From Delhi, return airfare only sets you back about 18k per person on budget carriers. Plus good hotels are few and quite expensive in season. Return airfare to Malaysia/Thailand/Indonesia is 18 - 21k (Hurray Air Asia :D) and no dearth of good hotels. You do the math. In fact my parents are planning a trip to Australia and they are booking thru Air Asia, return flight per person is coming out to be like 30k for one person, which is phenomenal considering no other airline is quoting below 42-45k.

Can anyone explain me about Airport Tax ??

I checked this tour of makemytrip (dont intend to go with them but just like that)

Thailand - Waters of Paradise - Book Thailand - Waters of Paradise Vacation Package at Budget Prices : MakeMyTrip India

They mention that airport tax is not included, so how much will the tour cost appreciate to if say the cost ex-Mumbai is 37000 rupees exclusive of airport tax?

Also say i go to any xyz website to book my airline ticket...is airport tax part of the final price usually ? :S

A friend of mine suggested Sahara tours and travels in vile parle west for tailor made tours...will be getting in touch with them on weekend.

Ok so before reading what is written below...i would like to ask you guys not to flame me for my revised decisions :ashamed:

We have removed Krabi and put in Pattaya in the list (i know i know)...but the reasons for the same are as follows

1. She wants it..I guess all arguments stop here :P
2. Krabi was getting very very expensive esp due to peak season. I mean Makemytrip quotes me a ridiculous 1 Lakh per person package :wtf:
3. Less/No water sports in Krabi
4. Far from BKK which means more travel expenses (intra country air travel)

Now why pattaya

1. No dearth of information abt the place
2. Water sports like scuba diving, para sailing etc available in plenty which we both wanna do. (Yay...she wants to do all this and me too :hap2:)
3. Proximity to BKK (although not an issue)
4. Economically viable i guess
5. Food....everyone knows am a veggie and hence need to take this also into consideration.

We went from Pattaya to BKK on a decent ac air-bus and the trip was extremely comfortable and the roads were fantastic. Took ~3 hours IIRC from Pattaya to the airport direct.

There is a Burger King outlet in Pattaya I recall. Those jumbo beef burgers were heavenly. :drool2:
