Hey Sandy are you gone crazy , if u wanna blow the cpu give it to me.
I will put it to some use ;)
or sell it here on TE and get something else from that money.

such things related to blowing up must not be encouraged is what i feel personally.

Then you have an added reason to blow it up !

Why not ask them to do it for you, or call them over and do it in front of them :bleh:

new OC nothing gr8 about the processor but the ram really rocks .... haven't pushed it much .... this was mine first try .... anyways PCjedi helped me a lot on this ....

actually this twinmos don't like any lose timings ..... runs fine on stock timings .... if i try to losen the timings it gets worst ..... anyways wat else u expect from a 5k ram .... :D

Nice OC there Rahul.

wat else u expect from a 5k ram ....
The orignal Hynix D43 which i am getting from Funky does 250-265 at 3-4-4-10 .
Darky did 297 on his DFI at relaxed timings.
This is what value hynix ram can do. ;)

Also i have heard that Venice loves Tight timmings over More Mhz.
But if ur Ram can go higher with tight timings then its icing on the cake.[not possible with value ram]

What do you mean Rahul?? 2.7 GHz is damn good. You have an amazing oc'ing Venice there.... Lucky guy!!!

@anarchy ---I know this is late, but I did not come across this thread till today. Nice oc and nice legs. But I would love to look at the face.

just look at the timings dude ..... and here we are talking about 512MB dual side sticks ..... anyways i have also taken my kingston KVR to 280Mhz with losen timings .... :D .... but the bad thing about twinmos is it doesn't like lose timings so u can't have insane speeds like D43 with lose timings ..... :)

EDIT:- and this is stable settings not suside screenshots i have run crystal mark and 3dmarks03 with these setting .....

@Nikhil thanks buddy ...... lemme get a new PSU then i will try to push it more ......

D43 is no good for a64. Tight 2-2-2-5 timings at 200MHz is way better than 3-4-4-8 at 250 for a64 chips. For P4, its a different story though.

CPU Clock Speed 2651.1 MHz
Clock multiplier x 11.0
HTT Bus Frequency 241.0 MHz
L1 Data Cache 64 KBytes, 2-way set associative, 64 Bytes line size
L1 Instruction Cache 64 KBytes, 2-way set associative, 64 Bytes line size
L2 Cache 1024 KBytes, 16-way set associative, 64 Bytes line size
L2 Speed 2651.1 MHz (Full)

dunno how2post pics :) crop them n make them small size :p

temp is abt 34 rite now, on booting was 36 proccy n 32mobo...

My OC result, so how is this guyz???

Here is my result

got 36.701s in spuerpi 1M test.

My temperature at load

This is it for now untill i buy a good heat sink for the CPU ;)

and here is my 3d Mark 05 result

got this at 550/1150, overclocked only for Bechmark(used detect optimal settings which gave me 565/1160 but reduced coz i was afraid a bit).

So how is this guyz? not bad????

Well my ram is doing only 226Mhz, so had to stop here. i think my venice can do more, but i'll push it only after i buy Xp-90, such that i'll bring the ram to DDR 266MHZ, then increase the HTT by increasin the Vcore. This OC is only with the stock HSF.
