OC & Modding Post your overclocks !

well I am working on stable setup..... I get very lil time with my rig to be honest and its beacuse of this I am having difficulties finding a sweet spot for my X2 + TCCD ... also I have a long way to go with my Gskill GH's. Also TT BT (stock) is not quite match when it comes to Indian Climate on an X2 Oced to 2750-2800.

32M super-stable SS is next then... for all you guys.

Heres my latest OC.

Ive Pulled it back to 3.5 Ghz as it goes well with the RAM i have. DDR2 533 doing DDR667 Standards.. I have to say im very very Happy with my RAM.

Ive pushed it from 266 Mhz to 333 Mhz.

Im happy with the OC of my Processor too. Although it can reach 4Ghz+ But im not so crazy about burning my Proccessor ;).

Heres a Pic.

Intel sucks ;) How abt that ?

Just jokin', pal.

Good OC and it seems that u've a very good RAM on ur hands. What's the default speed of the proccy ? ( Am lazy to search the net for it...)

ok, just improved a tad.

cpu freq - 2250 mhz
htt - 250 mhz
memory(async) - 5:6
memory timings - 2.5,3,3,7 @ 2T
super pi/mod1.4 score - 40.282 s

all stock ;)

Default is a 2.8 Ghz (Pentium D 820.. 830 is 3 Ghz and 840 is 3.2 Ghz)

RAM's default speed was 266 Mhz. I can push my RAM upto 400 Mhz actually ;).

Just need to give it a Lil' more Voltage... Which i dont wanna do.

Btw.. Intels overclock more than AMD's :bleh:....

My RAM showing 5 : null : null : 18 .. Lol.. But i can hardly notice a difference.

Good OC Dipdude, keep going and you will reach somewhere ;) !

@ Goldenfrag - Awesome mate ! That RAM OC is by far one of the best I have seen, keep it up :D !

Only considering clock speeds, not performance :p !

I did say Overclock more than AMD's :p... Meaning Clock Speed only :p...

But i get a 20 FPS lesser drop during firefights in CS Source now :D.

Im really happy with my RAM though! I cant believe its done so much!

Who gives a damn about timings when the speed it is so high :D.

RAM's original timings were 4 - 4 - 4 - 8 @ 266 Mhz and 5 - 5 - 5 - 10 @ 300 Mhz.

But Intel doesnt give a damn about timings .. Why should i :eek:hyeah:

No offence meant, Goldie.

Lol.

My oc reaches 4.2 Ghz STABLE.

But burns up my XP-90 ;).

75+ Degrees on load. I hope my Thermal Grease didnt burn off in the proccess. :bleh:..

I never speak w/o doing it or knowing it first.. :bleh:...

Wait who am i kidding i do :p..

Anyways. My proccy did reach 4.2 Ghz. Beat that with you 1.8 Ghz 3000+ :bleh:

Infact beat it with a 4000+ also :bleh:
