was the ram at 1T or 2T & which ram was it ur patriot or Transcend.

Just wating to get my rig in july hope i can do upto atleast 50% of what u and darky acheive.

@ bottle - wanted to know the RAM with which you acheived this 7900MB/s figure
and was this the mobo MSI K8n Neo2 Plat
also wanted to know how much voltage you passed through the ram at that settings.

please dont overstate my results :P 280@ 2 3 2 6 is a dream.. hmm lemme see how far i can go at that timings ;) all my overclocks are at 2.7v anyway. 2.9v is not too stable at any clock
 
best was 301mhz at 3-4-4-8 with 2.7v . i was having problems going over 295mhz till i finally lowered the voltage to 2.7v , wierd . havent really benched since then. wait till the weekend ;)

no problems with locks. cant do anything at that speed unless i drop the cpu multiplier. cpu isnt very stable over 2.6 gigs

Well thats how tccd behaves. I have seen tccd getting fried bcoz someone gave 3.1V to it.
It rarely needs over 2.9v.
And yeah tccd aint really famous for tight latecies at high speeds. BH-5 and BH-6 are the only chips that can do really tight timings over 260-270Mhz provided you give enough juice to them.
 
Yep, thats right.. me using the very same mobo n CPU that darky hit 2.8gigz on.. ;).. In comparision (to bottle's n darky's 2.8gigs, this is a modest OC :ohyeah:

So, RB sunny, who is the competition coming from?
