NO ...what RD274 meant was that the CFW is currently only till upto FW 5.50.

To play games which require 6.xx , you need to patch the games. It works just fine. That or you can use an on-the-fly decrypting prx which will patch the game as you play it.

People running 5.50 GEN D3 might've noticed the occasional pink flash before a game starts , that is the integrated decryptor in the FW coming into play.
 
No PSP3000 series is doomed unless you've got one with a firmware lower than 5.03.

Exactly, except the newer semi-hackable PSP 3000s which were lucky enough to have FW5.03 (with GEN-C CFW added on) can still play all the latest games. Last played Dantes Inferno ... no trouble at all :)

PS - All PSP3000s now sell with FW6.00 and above ....
 
PSJailbreak ban made permanent
An Australian court has permanently banned the distribution of PS3 piracy tool PSJailbreak, it has been revealed.

Sony won a permanent injunction against the import and sale of the USB device after its temporary ban expired earlier this week, GI.biz reports.

Australian retailers OzModChips, ModSupplier and Quantronics have removed the hardware from their product listings. Any traders who distributed the device were ordered to turn the profits over to Sony, as well as compensate the firm for the inconveniences caused.

Elsewhere, Sony has filed a suit against Zoomba LDC, who sells the device in North America.

Blackcat according to me is a USB programmable device ... its not a clone of the jailbreak !! ...You'll need to download the psgroove codes modified with the backup manager coding to write on the Blackcat usb key .... then the jailbreak will work :|
