Just a headsup!

Ran into few issues while trying to copy a game into the internal drive of the PS3 using Gaia Manager's built-in FTP and FileZilla on the PC. The single file which was over 9GB in size used to show up as ~4 GB in spite of occupying 9 GB on the internal drive and the game failed to work.

Downloaded Blackbox v1.2 ftp client. Copied the .pkg file to the usb drive and installed it on the PS3 and all went well later. Was able to play the game. :)

Filezilla (PC) + Blackbox v1.2 (PS3) FTW!
 
Like I suspected, it should have been Gaia's FTP which was said to have a few minor bugs. Although, I didn't encounter a single problem with it till now.
 
how can i get Heavy Rain work. Backed it up from an original BD Disc but when openeing through Backup manager it gives eboot.bin invalid error.
 
if a buy a ps3 move starter kit separately will it work with my jbd ps3 or does it need a greater version
 
yes it should work as the current ps3s' most probably have 3.50 FW or lower, which allows downgrade. So you can JB it easily.
