Android Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launched in India For 50k. Any Takers?

Actually N2 stays in the family. Selling N2 won't get you a phone half as good as N2 in the same amount so it makes a lot of sense to keep it. Also this time of the year (festivals et al) the itch to get something new really escalates :p. Dunno whether waiting till Diwali would do any good coz usually prices till that time remain inflated. Reductions usually happen a week or 10 days after the festivals are over. If a get a price around 44-5k range I might just go ahead with it by Sunday because I don't really see a lot of options as such. Even LG g2 / Z1 are all around or above 40 so N3 at 44 does seem okay.

Hmm, price drop of n2 will be little more than n3. So waiting for n3's price to drop further entails losing little more on n2.

Looking at it this way its better to sell n2 sooner rather than later. Otherwise the difference will be ~rs.5k loss.
 
checked out the note 3 at the mobile store, felt it was not such a big upgrade,only incremental. they qouted rs 19k for my note 2 and hold your breadth 29k extra for a exchange! i felt that at most note 3 should carry a premium of rs 5k over the note 2. i have decided. to wait for another year before i upgrade.

Using Wanamlite V4 (Leaked Samsung 4.3) on N2 since last 4 days and I must say it's pretty solid, No FC, battery life better than Stock 4.1.2.

Don't want to convert this thread into rom discussion but ARHD is still on 4.1.2 and for 4.1.2 I have tried better roms like Moon V10 which supports floating windows. Guess the taste /choice differs for everyone, nothing personal. Anyway thanks for the suggestion.

Has anyone ordered on Snapdeal till date?? I personally have for 44k 3 days back (Local price 46k at best). Seller has above 4 rating out of 5. Should I go ahead and make the COD payment when it arrives (In a day or 2 max) WIll Samsung service center honour this purchase in case there is any issue with the device ?? Kindly advice.

There are no worries mate.
 
the colors on the samsung phones are so overdone and artificial, atleast in the stores. I dropped the idea of testing out the phone after 30 seconds, coz my eyes were being abused!

There's a chance they might make an announcement in Jan, whether a launch will follow remains to be seen. Though going to 9 months from 12 months isn't impossible.

That's a 10% drop since launch in just one month, i figured it would take at least a month longer.

Launch was 49k, so 43-44k in less than a month is surprising. Its the build up to diwali. i'd expect the price to rise after.
