whenever m trying to install debian squeeze, i get hell lotsa errors which includes debootstrap errors, deb's errors

whereas debian lenny installed just fyn, any1 with a solution ?

The squeeze installer is broken. Try this -- Seagate Dockstar Debian Squeeze | developer.shyd.de.

tried that too, getting same keyring signature something error @ debootstrap installation

Install Debian on your Dockstar or Pogoplug

dockstar.debian-squeeze.sh failed on dockstar

Currently installing that only, i need dockstar basically for downloading and wifi data sharing, hope it allows me to do so

^ did archlinux work? most of the packages required by you, are available there as well.

m not able to get tranmission working on my dockstar, whereas i can easily install it on my asus n13u, i tried upgrading to squeeze from lenny resulting in a corrupt/bricked installation so have to stick with lenny, any workaround for transmission ?

i have also installed pyload and got it working but cant able to make it @ automatic startup :S

transmission installed, but cant able to open webUI(return with page not found error), and yes i have edited settings.json file too.

if u use router forward the ports for transmission web client

default is 9091

Have you tried transmission remote?

Checked the firewall setting? Is the port 9091 open - have you checked that?

yes, checked everything, whereas transmission working perfectly on my asus n13u

Have edited the settings.json file as described by Varkey somewhere in this thread. Search this thread.

IMO you need to edit this two :

rpc-enabled

rpc-whitelist-enabled

Dont get into editing rpc value delete the settings.json and restart transmission it would create a new file.
