I am reading "I too had a love story" by Ravinder Singh.

The english is used plain layman indian english. Have read 70% of it. I am liking the book so far.

I found all three of them to be strictly mediocre to boring..

Am reading Dance with the Dragons (Book five of Song of fire and Ice), and the book kicks ass, the fourth was kinda dry but fifth one is turning out to be the best so far for me.

People who like Sci-fi should read the Old Man's war trilogy (http://www.goodreads.com/series/40789-old-man-s-war)

I actually bought monk who sold his Ferrari and couldn't get past page 80 and borrowed the alchemist from library which i completed but didnt like it at all...

Both were recommendations....

Now, No more recommendations welcomed.

^^ i haven't read the 'the monk.. ferrari' yet but i really liked 'the alchemist'.. but surely, it depends person to person..

also, the hunger games is available on ebay for just 59 bucks

Thanks for those above links. I got the delivery today. Both the books for just 147 bucks. \m/

Also I have found 'the Landmark' relatively cheaper than Flipkart. Same 5 books (in my queue) was 1189 in fk while its 1030 in landmark and I can still use coupons. :)

Reading the book 1 of A song of ice and Fire
finished 15% (eBook reader stats) - 6hours

My reading speed is 138 wpm ( is this too low or normal?)
at this speed i guess its gonna take ages to complete 5 books


into reading after almost a very long time ...10 years i guess
used to read enid blyton books when in was in 5th or 6th


BTW wats your reading speed guys ??

When I am reading, I don't do any other work. Only just reading. I'd take 7-8 hours to complete books like Chetan Bhagat's & books like A song of ice & fire in 3-4 days.

I strongly suggest you not to worry about reading speed & stuff. You are not in any race with anyone !! Just enjoy the book, that's what matters. :)
