Is there any point to update from iOS 5.1.1 to 6.1 after the jailbreak is live ?
I am on the fence whether i should update or not.

Hey guys any decent app to add toggles to home screen for BT, 3G etc?

Are you jailbroken ? If yes then install NC settings. I guess there is no other app which actually toggles. Might be things which add shortcut to the BT or 3G setting but actual toggles work with NC settings.

I just opened cydia and on the cydia homepage on top I see

SHSH iOS 5.1.1, 6.0.1, 6.1

I believe this shows the SHSH blobs stored on cydia servers for my iPhone right ? If yes then how come I am seeing 6.0.1 and 6.1 there ?
I never updated my or any other iOS device in my home to iOS 6.0.1 or 6.1

Am i missing something ?

Cydia does it automatically on release of new iOS versions. Additionally, u must save the blobs using tiny umbrella.

Jailbreak is out :D

- Backup your device using iTunes (or iCloud) before using evasi0n. If something breaks, you'll always be able to recover your data.
- Those who use backup passwords in iTunes must disable them for now. After doing so, iTunes makes a brand new backup. Please wait for that backup to complete before proceeding! Feel free to re-enable your backup password after jailbreaking.
- Please disable the lock passcode of your iOS device before using evasi0n. It can cause issues.
- Launch evasi0n, plug in your device, and click "Jailbreak". Just sit back and observe its progress. Watch for any steps you may be asked to perform.
- Avoid all iOS and iTunes related tasks until evasi0n is complete. Why not just enjoy a brief break from the computer to stretch your legs?
- If the process gets stuck somewhere, it's safe to restart the program, reboot the device (if necessary by holding down Power and Home until it shuts down), and rerun the process.
Evasion is easiest method of JB. No DFU mode & crap. Plug-in & relax :D

Does not take more than 10 mins !
-Detects the phone, press jailbreak
-phone reboots
-phone restarts, on screen it says injecting JB
-then it says, uploading cydia. iPhone screen will be blank.
-then phone starts again
-software says press jailbreak in iPhone. Find new jailbreak in iphone [it has evasion icon]
-after clicking screen goes blank & comes again live. Don't press this thing twice !!
-Software reads Injecting remount payload
-Root : File system successfully remounted
-JB data, step 3.
-phone reboot
-phone starts with evaders logo, reboot
-this is long reboot
-again evasion logo : Cleaning Up
-DONE !! Continuing to boot
-JB DONE

Thanks. Jb my iPhone 5. will wait for few hours till cydia servers are back to normal. Too slow right now coz of traffic I guess.

@avi

Absinthe too was without DFU crap. I always get paranoid when i am supposed to put the phone in DFU mode as i am scared i might instead put it into recovery (DFU and Recovery is different right ??)

Finally At&t Logo On My Phone Instead of idea..lol Thanx to Jailbreak and fake Carrier :yahoo:

^Yup, they both are different. With DFU mode we get lots of permission/acess to modify things. But in Recovery we don't. We can say Recovery is light version of DFU :p
