Lost my spare stylus too today :( Anyone know where to find a replacement for cheap ? The Nokia Priority Dealer was asking for 600 bucks for this piece of plastic.

i lost 1 in the train too :( so i'm on my spare one. am trying to source a few from dubai this yr end , the OG ones directly from Nokia Priority are v. pricey.....fakes one are easily available on ebay and @ Heera Panna , 100 buks or so......will let u know once i source proper info on the OG ones from dubai.
 
today went to a nokia priority dealer,

i was completely shocked when i heard from him that the 5800's price is gonna fall to 12.5k ish, after 2 days, only for the diwali period.

Is that true ?

very true, there is already a thread on TE where it clearly states the price @ 13.5k .....and now u say 12.5k :O OMG!!!
 
@thetech mind. I am going to buy 5800 soon,Which color loooks best according to you? Red,blue or black?Can anybody tell me exact color diferences in these models? front side will be black in all models rite?

I went to NPD yest he had only dummy model,demo version he said will be available in 2-3 days huh.

Adn do I need to buy any other accessor? Scratch guard? Is any case available? Please reply.
 
I had my plans to buy 5800xm this week at 16.5k but the recent price drops have left me confused..
Does the price drop of 5800xm mean that x6 16gb is gonna be priced somewhere around 16-17k?
I dont like the looks and build quality of 5800xm but i was gonna compromise but now if x6 is gonna be in my budget(~17k) then it would be the best option..
Anyone has any idea about its launch date and expected price?
 
I believe Nokia has something up there sleeve. N97 is coming out with kinetic scrolling which a Nokia Touchscreen phone badly wants. With the resistive 5800 Screen i believe that is not possible. So my guess is Nokia is able to produce a newer model at the same price point as the 5800 or lower. Hence they are clearing out there piled up stock with the resistive screens hence cheaper 5800 touchscreen phones and the likes.
 
And even the N97 which is getting a "confirmed" UI-wide kinetic scrolling update has a resistive touchscreen.. lol WinMo phone (resistive touchscreens) apps have had flick and kinetic scroll for ages :) WinMo 6.5 makes kinetic scrolling a part of the default UI.

Actually i am waiting for Nokia 5530 but if 5800 will sell for less than it then i will defo go with 5800 :p
 
^ Thats what I did, I too was waiting for 5530 but if 5800 is for same price no one will buy 5530, atleast till this offer/stock last.
I bought it for 14.7k at mobilestore yesterday.

But the earphones that come with it are really bad. The SE earphones work great on it. Which good earphones will give audio quality like that of SE? I need high Bass earbuds.
 
I guess there was a limited batch of black/silver available!!! I got one thru ebay (august 2009 stock with bill)
