The GPS behaves strangely at times.
In Mumbai i never get my position, when i try outside my house and that too for 20 mins

But in my house in mangalore, i get my position within 2 mins.
 
guys .. though this will be a stupid question to ask here .. but i would like to know .. what will be your opinion.. if asked to choose between an apple iphone and a 5800 ? please tell me .. as i am quite confused between the two .
 
^^^ if you are getting any of them for free then iphone(3g or 3gs) :p ..remember their is big price difference between them(in india) and that is the deciding factor for most of the people.
 
You are quite right with your first sentence. :bleh:

5800 is worth every penny even if it is priced at 15k these days. But.... iphone is a great phone, but not sure it is a good VFM. Whatever it is iphone is a good head turner even today becoz it is rare due to its price tag.

Now 5800 has become like reliance phones :eek:hyeah:

Same here in Kolkata. Under satellite status it shows 'No satellite available' :(
 
At Office, GPS finally worked and was able to give me my location in about 5seconds. but still it does not work at my home even I try it from roof of third floor:|

I was planning to get 5800 primarily for the GPS functionality. Seems I should wait for the Navigator edition.

I am using it from past 3days. works pretty well with no crashes but seems heavy on memory. I get "Low memory" Notifications every now and then:p

Why use FM when you have 8GB memory at your disposal. be your own RJ;)

Thats the Home Screen 'Orange' users get in UK on their 5800..

Its been available now for all 5800 users.. Much better than using crap third party apps..

Its spreading like hell on the net.. Just Google for Orange Home Screen for 5800

Else i will post the full instructions here.. ;)
