ovi suite will be slowly replacing the pc suite

but for the timebeing PC suite is faster and can do more stuff than the ovi suite without the beautiful face of ovi :D

Does anyone have a link for the Phoenix Tool? I got a file off RS but it does not have any cr**ks. I tried to update my brother's 5800 which had the firmware 11.x.x.x and it got bricked. I went to Nokia Care but it has a huge queue. I want to try to revive it myself. Any pointers will be appreciated.
 
just try with torrents and you will get it. I got it when my phone got into trouble back in feb. But I dint try it out.

I got it debricked at a shop in 15 mins flat. Nokia Care was having a queue so I decided to give it a skip. Works like a well oiled machine now :D
 
I have some bugs with my 5800's voice recorder app

-> It does not run minimized. If I press the red button it exits.

-> It automatically stops recording after sometime if I don't touch the phone and the screen blanks out due to standby.

-> 1 hr limit even in high quality mode??

-> A 55 min. mp4 recording does not get imported into my Music Library. I have to go manually to the File manager every time and open it. It then opens in Real Player. Again if the phone goes into standby, and comes back, I get a black screen. Nothing works. Pressing the Red key brings me back to the home screen and real player exits.

Any solutions?
 
Just ordered Nokia 5800 from ebay.

12990 with free senhieser pmx60 and 8gb micro sd.

i had a 5% disc coupon(upto Rs750)
So got rs650 off
so eventual price was 12340:hap2::clap::clap:

I am getting same for 12k, but is that deal okay? I mean why its so cheap? since here in local shops its selling for 13.5k and that seller is selling it for 13k which includes shipping too.

How come this is possible? since he also has to pay Ebay fees @6%

Dammmm!!! I saw your post and just now ordered one for myself for 11,990/- . I had almost decided 2-3 weeks back, but then controlled myself for not spending again..but this online thing is so fast :p..

btw did you order from sun_2009??? any choice for colour??

Yeah, same seller.

For color, I called him to inquire about it. he has two colors available. Full Black and Red & black. I got the Red & Black one.

to specify your color choice, just mail him at jdcom70 at gmail dot com

^^^ I have also called him just now and sent a mail too for red one.. .that guy has got 12 orders in 2 days :p, he says he will be shipping it on Saturday or monday..
 
Price drop is fine, with the upgrades all over the place the drop had to happen.

5800 support added. Played a .avi directly drag - dropped :hap2:

it was shuttering a little so went to settings and just shut off the zoom function and viola!!!
