I need a touchscreen phone around 10k...I want 3g, GPS(i'm goin out of my home city...also don't want A-GPS, won't probably be gettin GPRS so need a dedicated GPS chip), good music quality. Would like MS Office document viewers and PDF viewers too. Camera quality isn't important. Wi-fi would be helpful, but not necessary.
From above considerations, i think only nokia models suit me...so which one do i select?? 5230/5235 or wait for the C6?? QWERTY keypad would be a decent addition, but i need to buy strictly within this month. can extend budget by abt 2-3k...please help!

Nokia 5230/5235.

folks

suggest a stylish Slider phone.

Also used for listening to Radio,Music(so should have good expansion slot).

Suggest models with good camera i.e >=3.2 MP. Without camera also ok.

Suggest any good brands(no new companies like videocon etc) except samsung since I'm having two samsung phone so want to go for either Nokia,SE.

Willing to wait for a month if any new stylish model is coming.

Budget is the lesser the better but max is 10K.

All but the GPS!!:( and that's one of the most important things i need...so it'll have to be a nokia...thx though...

If you want a device specifically for navigation than get Nokia device with closed eye. But if GPS is only as an addon than Samsung S5620 Monte is also good. It has builtin GPS hardware and you can use Google Maps for navigation. Nokia 5230 is good device but Samsung S5620 is perfectly suited to your requirements.

If only Nokia you are looking for than extend your budget a bit and get Nokia 5800.

* If a Dual Sim (GSM+CDMA) phone is top priority, you have the Samsung W619 2ON. There are other alternatives from Chinese brands like Karbonn et all...

* No dual-sim, Android-powered devices in our market.

* 3G & Wi-fi in a dual-sim phone, is probably asking for too much. However, some Chinese brands do offer DS models with Wi-Fi.

lots of features, worth a try.

How about Samsung corby Speed CDMA? I guess It's not 3G, but Broadband support is additional feature.

And I guess Solo CDMA + android is also not possible

Well, the Samsung Corby Speed looks like the only multimedia oriented, decent-spec'd device in that price range.

I'm afraid not...anytime soon.

Hi,

I am looking for a mobile phone with the following requirements :

1. Should have a QWERTY KB
2. Should have Activesync
3. Budget = around 10k give or take a grand or 2
4. Sony Ericcsson preferred as music quality is by far the best, way better than ipod. However this is not a deal breaker so other brands are OK too.

thanks

first, Activesync is only for windows mobile. And do you want only those models?

Not exactly. A phone doesnt need to be a WinMo to have Activesync enabled. It can be licensed from MS which SE did and a few models such as K850i have Activesync enabled on them.

Well it doesn't have a QWERTY KB. I am not a fan of on screen keyboards. Looks pretty good though :-) Thanks.
