My Defy (running CM7) plays 720p videos i.e 1280*720. Extreme smooth playback and seek. Running Miui 1.6.10 for the past day or so and i can play the same song as well as CM7.

Btw, you want a beautiful ROM, then its Miui for you. CM7 for performance :) Will post scrrnshots of Miui tomorrow .
 
Just got my defy this sunday,pretty freaking happy so far....

Was using LG O1 for the past 20 days but needed a change...

Still running on 2.1 will probably upgrade only after the official Indian froyo update is available....

SEXY PHONE...
 
^^ If you search in xda developers forum, you could find the official 2.2 froyo ROM's mirror image.. AFAIK, the release of bug free 2.2 ROM by Moto will take some time through MSU, but apparently you can do that in a service center.. Better yet, run CM7...

Hi defier's, I have ordered one today from LSB.

I have some questions-
1- What about warranty if water swoops in?

2- Is it really totally submersible under water as i am seeing in many youtube videos?

3- How does the water stay out of the loud speaker, mic and earpiece?

Has anyone here actually tried putting the phone in a bucket of water maybe?
 
I also wanna buy the defy..now that its available for 15k at letsbuy..but im really very concerned about its high SAR rating of around 1.5! I have shortlisted huawei x5 and defy..help me out which one should i go for. I wish this phone had a lesser SAR rating, would have increased this phone's sales a lot as im sure that many people are put off by its SAR rating,like me :(
