Which replacement cable for TF10?

Question: My friend has removed the outer packaging of Amazon and is bringing only the inside box. Where will the bill be? Also is anything attached to the outer packaging of Amazon which will be needed later on to claim warranty, etc??

the connector earpiece connector is every loose ( as seen in the FIrst Picture )

I think people are better if with Lune/enyo

BTW, If i want to buy cable to make my own custom cable where do i get a silver cable ...:ashamed: Dont get me wrong ...i think i can not differentiate between the SQ but ..i think if i make a DIY cable the cost will be around 25-30.
 
i dont know that but , i do know that the JHaudio uses UPS for shipping and it will cost a bomb !:(

Its better to buy the twilight cable.

no someone is comming from us in march so i thought he can bring it along.I am gonna buy twilight when ever you guys arrange the GO, but i'll also get them just as a backup(if they work with TF-10).

@kuki , Look, I dont have A CCard (/and the Guts ) to organize a GO for cable. VEry Desperate (/rich ) members have already BOught it , if you wait for a go Most probably it wont happen. :(

well i can't. If i could have i would have done it, but i also don't have ccard(and don't know anyone who have) also don't have much time right now(12th board).

if i have to do order alone best route i can think of to ask amarbir to pay via his ccard(don't know if he'll agree).
 
Amarbir is a nice guy he will agree !
But why dont you buy the UM cable that amarbir is selling , i am sure UM makes its connectors that are compatable with UE also. I know it because the form i filled to buy Miracle, had an option to opt for the connector i want , i chose the UE one.

If does not have it ask him to get it, Hopefully you can save money as my order must be coming back soon ! ( yeah its still not here :( )
 
max i want to spend on cable is 1.5-2k thats why i am hoping for a GO to be arranged.

UM cable costs about 3k. i'll try if amarbir can reduce the price a bit.
 
Hey guys, any consensus on which is the best cable to use? I know that Benny has Twilight cable, and since I don't have my TF10s yet (just bought them for about $130 :D brand new) I am wondering what to do. I can get them modded in the US itself. Looking for some pointers.

Also, guys who own it, anyone has had a problem with the fit? I had used Benny's pair, and it was slightly uncomfortable, so I'm wondering if I can use any replacement tips with mine.
 
Yeah you can use the Headdirect tips with them !

about the cable , if you can buy the Twilight , its one of the best tested cables around, user friendly as well (the stiffness issues ).

But as said before , its best that you try the TF10 first , then decide :)

Cable is removable , it can be done anywhere, ( with some care ofcourse )
 
Oh is it? Thanks a ton. I guess I'll do some more reading and see if I can score some cable on the cheap from somewhere. I would have loved to even get these reshelled, but I don't think that happens here, so no point... would cost a bomb.
 
reshelling ?! it happens here ! :D ( well not literally but amarbir is the official dealer of UM , he charges around 7K for getting your IEm reshelled.

it might take some time though ( expect 1-2 months ), my Miracle order is still under processing !

i hava OT question.

if someone comming from usa bring something for someone else does he have to pay customs and taxs at airport.my dad asked me this when i asked him if we can get lumix fz40 from usa with a relative will be comming in march.
 
No there is a limit upto which you can get items without any hassles. And if it's for you, you can always take the items out of the box and get claiming it's your personal belonging ergo no customs.

They usually only catch you if you have a lot of electronic items in boxes - otherwise there are no issues.

@strategy and esanthosh: Yes, but it's so darn expensive! But I guess that's the only way to get it done, na? In US it's done for $150 shipped, out of which $50 is just for the impressions. Wondering if I can ship my ear impressions to my friend and get it done.
 
inearZ take $80 for remolding and as far as i know, Unique melody's remolds are far superior than that.

Moreover, that's 160 for remolding, and it does not include impressions ( Why will it include impressions, impressions are taken by an audiologist , while remolding is done at UM/inearZ/etc. )

you have the wrong IDEA of the whole process , in fact it costs cheaper in india as impressions cost just 200 here (100 per ear)

Lynx-india is official UM distributor here, and he if offering all its products at the international pricing, more over you dont have to worry about customs ( remember customs are around 30% for audio products !)

Dont get me wrong , but the thing is you cant say that the remolding cost 7K is high. its the same around the world ! ( excluding inearz, that's a new firm , with very competitive pricing )

NOTE : i am not a promoter of Amarbir , but really he has offered some sick deals as of late, on par with the international pricing , i respect that.
