Not every Xiaomi phone is bad. I own Mi3 which could easily kick on ass of other big brands Samsung, Microsoft, Motorola flagship phones. But I personally don't like it's design. Waiting for Mi4 to launch.

My cousin received his RedMi today. He is bringing it in the evening for me to set up everything. Will let you guys know how it is.
 
It will get miui6 (kit Kat ) ... But few months later.
I have started using it few hours back n love it.
Btw after reading all negative feedback for version 36 I have not updated the phone, it's on version 34.
