Any idea how much space diff between that and the full? i've never heard of the stripped ver so i don't know...
 
just go through the ColdfusionX thread you will find both versions

in rar size stripped one is 14 mb while full version is 56 mb

stripped version is devoid of face recognition and other less important apps
 
I checked the thread, but no concrete info. In any case if the rar itself is 56mb then god knows how big it will be in system. You trying?

Download coldfusion and mini gapps, both linked in the first post itself in the Coldfusion thread. Then delete the unnecessary videos worth of 10 mb from the rom zip (located in /system/media/video) and flash it, it will fit within 180 mb partition also.

Use the TPT here (Gen 1 to Gen 2 v10f) if you want 180mb partition, this is ideal size for ICS with mini gapps and videos removed.
 
My bad, i thought the gapps link in the first post was the big one, didn't actually try the mediafire link. Does anyone know how much space the full rom (including videos etc.) + full gapps requires?
 
My blade has been acting weird for a couple of days, with some random restarts and wifi issues. It's been more than 4 months since I last flashed CM7, so I was thinking of flashing again, but I'm confused as to which ROM to choose.

Can someone tell me which ROM at present is stable, snappy and lag free without much issues?

I would like the ROM to have working wifi, USB tethering and hotspot mode. Other than that, I don't have much use for Youtube or video playback or FM radio. I don't want to flash for another couple of months at least, so was thinking of sticking with Gingerbread only.
 
Swedish Snow seems pretty decent. Stable, not laggy and fully functional.

According to the dev, KonstaT, it's actually a continuation of MMHMP, so that means MMHMP is outdated...
 
What difference do these sources make in real life?

MMHMP seems to be based on a libra source and SS on a blade. Wouldn't the later one be 'better' ?

p.s. any specific thoughts after using coldfusion for a while now?

Its good for normal use like mail, chatting with whatsapp. Youtube is Low Quality only. Panorama mode in camera is not stable.

Inbuilt tether apps do not work. So Koush's tether and other third party tether apps are alternative

But gallery is not stable. Setting up wallpaper can sometimes be PITA.

Sometimes gets stuck in between but a simple press of home button solves the issue. Hardware acceleration is bad and should be worked upon.

The phone never rebooted for me

Last but not least the CM9 Boot animation is cool.

Looking forward to the MIUI bulid as I have liking for Eyecandy
 
guys any app which can be used for voice chat? both skype and vtok seem to route the audio to speaker. Any app which works properly with blade?
